Re: Mahindra XUV500 : Test Drive & Review

Ah cant tell really because of the different lighting aspect in both the photographs i.e the silver being in the shade. On the 2 photos above along , for me it would be white.

Also note that Silver comes with Black and Red interiors and White comes with Beige and Walnut interiors.

It's an important point when you decide on the color.

More support for me atleast to go in for the white - i prefer the Walnut/Beige over the Red/Black color combination with the latter being a bit too dark for me.

This is one of the few cars which stands out in silver because of the chiseled-like surfaces (not rounded) which reflect and really shine in bright light, highlighting the profile very well.

Tushar: Go for Silver- I saw at the showroom all the goon and politician type people were thronging the white color one (with due respect to fellow BHPians who chose white over other colors) and Silver color was attracting the plush crowd-
I Agree.. after watching bloomberg XUV review video on youtube i feel Silver has better road presence (I work in bangalore every 2nd car here is white; infect my previous car too)

Yes for now it is Silver.. so i am thinking shell i get silver or wait for white... as i dont want to wait 3-4 months for XUV and that too price hike is likely expected

Re: Mahindra XUV500 : Test Drive & Review

I also heard of price hike, I hope it will not too much. As I already stretched my budget for car to 20% for XUV. One day delay and I will be paying few thousand extra :(

Tushar, Did you check out the green? Felt the shade to be too good and more over its a brand new color for quite some time. Do not remember other cars using the same shade though, Agree Santro, Zen, Swift all came with green shade but they do not resemble this shade.

Silver & White are too common colors and they will be very easy to be lost in a sea of cars

A wonderful review as usual from Team BHP, kudos to you guys.

Yes i like Green.. but again down the line i have to sale this car with in Bangalore (common man thinking) hence want to go with either white or silver for easy resale.

I am not sure but Green might be cost more during re paint..

Got a point there, resale angle and also considering the notorious Bangalore traffic, does make sense to go in for a silver. She however looks very good in all colors Red & Purple which does not add muscle to its looks. My personal opinion however.

Congrats and all the very best for you 5OO, do keep us posted on your experiences and also hopefully you will start a ownership thread soon.

Re: Mahindra XUV500 : Test Drive & Review

I am one of the large number of folks waiting for the bookings to re-open and its interesting to see White and Black as the most preferred colors being discussed on the forum with Silver being a close third. Having visited the Mahindra showroom a couple of times, I feel Dolphin Grey looks awesome on the XUV ....anyone agree?

Is there any news on the booking front? I have been calling the dealers every single day and they have absolutely no clue yet!
