Has anyone installed the led scuff plates? If yes, how is the installation done? Do we have to remove the existing plates and install the led ones in lieu of them?

Thanks Tushar. I was told that the existing plate will have to be removed. What are the other accessories that you took from IG? Can you PM me your number? Wanted to discuss about the accessories that purchased?

Re: Mahindra XUV500 : Test Drive & Review

5 minutes to go...
Eager to see how many will be like and how many will be like

If the figures that I know are correct:
25000:7200...approximately 1 in 4 will get to book this vehicle.

All the best to all the people who have bought this lottery ticket

Re: Mahindra XUV500 : Test Drive & Review

I was eagerly waiting for avinashsg draw since we had many plans with that car...and its only disappointment that we got

Mahindra XUV500 : Test Drive & Review-untitled2.jpg

Just as I was browing, I found that there were 73000+ applications (the last application number I saw was some 73k)

and in the last page alone I found many lucky people who have got more than one winning entry. How lucky!!!

So we have decided not to wait for the next lottery...Its either safari or scoprio.

Re: Mahindra XUV500 : Test Drive & Review

I WON, I WON !

Won Rs. 80,000/- in the lottery

Maybe this is blessing in disguise and I shall give M&M more time to sort out niggles and bring out a W4.

Even I am thinking to buy Scorpio SLE now or E9 XYLO or Aria.
But, as of now - I am deeply hurt. So, not able to have my genuine opinion.

73,000+ applications is shocking

The multiple winning entries appear to be Corporates, who would have placed multiple orders for vehicles for thier senior management / middle management.

Re: Mahindra XUV500 : Test Drive & Review

Got through the draw. :-)

M&M also added clarification on Corporate lease under Terms & Conditions. Individuals who've participated in the draw and won, could go through the corporate lease. It won't be considered as transfer to third party or person.

Naveen, Dieseling, Avinashsg,
Sorry to hear the results. I had two applications of my own, and both are not selected. So kind of in the same boat as you guys.

The application numbers are the numbers printed on the Form. Booklets of forms were printed and multiple booklets were available with each dealer outlet. So the 73,000+ number only means that those many forms were printed. M&M has already clarified that the bookings were around 25,000. Hope this clarifies.

I am not lucky enough to be a test driver. I will wait after the budget comes out and then take a decision on a new vehicle. Read yesterday that budget might have a proposal for a uniform 6% road tax(Budget 2012: Uniform 6% road tax on vehicles soon | Firstpost) .

Re: Mahindra XUV500 : Test Drive & Review

No luck for me either, as someone said earlier, I had mixed feelings about it so not much disappointment. However, I wish I had won the lottery and may not have to worry about increase in tax or the vehicle price itself in future.

while going thru the list, I too can see some individuals won for more than one entires. what can I say! lucky guys!

I may not think about scorpio yet (already removed safari out of the list sometime back) and may wait for next round of booking! No lottery this time please! Duster is another opportunity that we can look at now!
