Tyres : am told the Bridgestone 16' are more expensive than the 17' given the volumes they sell. Is that a correct statement?

Am contemplating an upgrade to 17' alloys in that case for my first change on the Q3. Suggestions on something equivalent to a Bridgestone?

We recently visited the Audi showroom in Chennai. The sales manager that told that the Q3 is expected in April in both standard and sport back variants with the 40 TFSI engine.

Audi gearing up to introduce sport back variants of the Q3 is news to us.

Now that Q2 is being discontinued, can we hope audi q3 will be offered at better prices since this will be their entry car now. Hoping for the launch soon

Received a message from the Audi SA that Q3 bookings are open now!

Booking amount would be 1 lakh (refundable) and deliveries would be starting in October.....expected on road pricing would be 55-65 lakh range.

Will share more details when available.

Novice question - Is it strange that the Q3 (and most Audis) have these rear fog lamps on the bumpers, making them rather susceptible to damage from errant rickshaw drivers/ bikers etc. who have a penchant for breaking really close to the car in front, or nicking the bumper of a parked car? Perhaps this is a Mumbai specialty :P
Happened to see at least 3 pre-owned Audis with cracked/ damaged rear fog lights. Is there a some sort of better protection through films etc. that can be provided to make them more resilient to damage from minor impact?

So now to the question, does anyone have any idea on how to fit or have they made a fix to this reversing camera situation.

To get those indications on screen (does your Q3 at least have an MMI screen??) you'll need to update the OPS module.

Hello, is there a way that the upright MMI unit and reverse camera system from the 2016-2020 Audi A4 can be fitted onto a 2017/2018 Q3? Or for that matter the reverse camera system from the Q3 technology versions (I think 2018 onwards)

The quoted posts are from a few years ago; are there any new ideas on retrofitting a reverse camera onto a 2017/18 Audi Q3? Asking for a pre-owned Q3 that's not in factory warranty. Any good agencies/ garages in Mumbai who can do this? Thanks!

Hello BHPians,
Thanks to GTO and Team for getting me on board,
I am facing a very peculiar issue with my 2019 Audi Q3 TDI Quattro. The car has done around 24,300KMs. After driving the car for about 2-3 Kms, during crawling speeds there is a grinding noise coming near the DSG Unit. When the noise occurs, there is a light vibration felt on the steering wheel as well. The car has been regularly serviced in Audi Service centre. The car is also in its warranty period. Has anyone else faced similar issue with Q3 or DSG Unit?
Have attached a link to the video as well.
Drive safe.

Yes, for sure, I have a 2014 bought at 37000 and it has performed well. Only replacements have been wear and tear stuff. More here

I maintain it well but I dont exactly baby it. If you are not interested, I have someone looking for one. Please let me know if you pass on it.

Hi BHPians,

I have a 2015 Audi Q3 35 TDI (Premium Plus) with the MMI Concerto system — solid car overall, but the infotainment feels ancient now. No CarPlay, no Android Auto, and honestly just dated.

Looking to do two things:

1. Infotainment upgrade:If anyone’s done this on a Q3 or similar VW group car, would be great to hear what worked (and what didn’t). Even open to retrofitting newer Audi systems if that’s doable.

2. Interior refresh:Based in Bangalore but happy to travel to Chennai/Hyderabad if the quality is really worth it.
Would appreciate:Thanks in advance — would love to hear from people who’ve done this kind of work.

Cheers:Cheering:
