Looks very good on white. You can also get the black vinyl wrap done on c pillar to integrate the windows. Thanks for sharing.

It can be applied on scratched surface after some light rubbing. This is not a solid, but is screwed to the slots inside the wheel arch. In addition to screwing, the claddings comes with 3M tapes which are glued to wheel arches.

Re: Renault Duster : Official Review

On my Renault Duster, presently my MediaNav is on 'Map of India' version 7.1 (IIRC 'Q4 2017'):
Renault Duster : Official Review-navisync1.png
No updates newer than this is shown on checking for update in Renault Media Nav Toolbox (version 3.18.5.740218).

However, on browsing the available content the latest version for Indian shown in version 7.2:
Renault Duster : Official Review-navisync2.png
...with cost of US$105/-.

Aren't we supposed to receive free lifetime updates?
Has anyone received free update to the latest version (7.2).

Re: Renault Duster : Official Review

I believe the updates are not free for lifetime, my previous attempt to update the maps was not successful. I have seen that maps work in most of the remote locations barring a few which are on unknown roads.

As far as I know: The map updates are free for 3 years. Lifetime updates are for the system software - If the manufacturer releases any updates, that is.

Re: Renault Duster : Official Review

Hi All,

I picked up a 20k kms run 2016 Duster 110ps RXL AMT. Not able to figure out the right tyre pressure. Can someone help? Google says 35, but somewhere in this thread it was mentioned 29/30.

I am planning to switch the stock headunit with sony xav ax3000. Has anyone done it on Duster? Any suggestions for best front components ?

I keep it 29 all around for city, and 31 for highway.

I maintain a tyre pressure of 32 psi, this works well for me both in city and highway driving.

29 is the recommended pressure as per Renault.Been keeping that for highway as well as city ,the ride gets harsh anything beyond 29.

Re: Renault Duster : Official Review

32 psi is the best and most balanced. Get it done at a good filling station. Most places are very poorly calibrated

Even I was wondering the same thing, but maps are not lifetime free if you have you have upgraded yourself (like I did). If they pre-installed (from the showroom / company) then you have to get hold of the showroom and they should update it.

29psi is the recommended tyre pressure for short runs (+/- 1or2psi can be done based on the personal comfort level). Most publicly available pump stations will have different readings as almost 99.9% are non calibrated and hence a 29psi wont be 29psi itself.

Also for highways its recommended to use 3-4psi more depending on the load (min +3psi) to avoid any tyre failure.

Audio upgrade can be done in any car. Couple of examples of upgrades done in Duster :

Re: Renault Duster : Official Review

Hey guys

My 2013 Duster's air con control knob that controls the air flow to the various vents stopped working. Dealer wants Rs 5,000 to replace the entire unit.
