After further reading, I believe you may actually be correct. This thread referred to the E90. Another member posted there saying that the performance exhaust for the F30 320d was not available when he enquired about it. It's possible that it never made it to India, but I hope I'm wrong

Thanks for the help but after discussion with my father, i have decided to wait until the warranty period expires which is a very long time to go and he still has doubts on how the ride will feel after the install as he loves how plush it is right now while I feel there's too much lateral movement on flyovers etc. Would love to hear your experience after installing them.

I am proud to have got onboard the F30 bandwagon a few months ago with the purchase of a pre-owned 2017 BMW 320i Luxury Line with 46000kms on the odo. The purchase wouldn't have been possible without the ownership reviews and advice available on team-bhp. So far, I'm absolutely loving every moment I spent driving it and would surely post a review when time permits. BMW 320d & 328i (F30) : Official Review-20190417_222111.jpg

There are apps on the internet using which you can hear the sound difference.
Are you sure it was 1.2 for the M Performance Exhaust?

I got the same quotation from Navnit Andheri for the M Performance Active Sound Exhaust which as you mentioned has an app as well. Do recheck before you go ahead with it.

Actually, I'm not sure. What's the difference? The display 330i has that amazing crackle when we let go of the throttle. While the exhaust is some way away, being 3rd in my to do list after Bilstein B6 and then Headlight sorting, I'd like to know more.

Don't know if it has been already discussed here or not but it looks like BMW has discontinued F30 3 Series in India. It is no longer listed on BMW India's Official Website.

They've also listed G20 3 Series on their Official Website and are accepting Pre-Bookings for it. You can it out here.

She has clocked 20000 Km, 2 years. Still feels and behaves like a brand new vehicle.

Ageing gracefully.

If it is any help, I sold a 3GT diesel 2017 25000km for 31L. A similar car with 9000km + service pack went for 32.5L . Both KA cars. An equivalent 3 might have sold for 27L. Hence, I reckon the 2016 KA car should be yours for around 22-23 L

re: BMW 320d & 328i (F30) : Official Review

Gentlemen need your advice here. I have a 2015 BMW 320D which is chauffeur driven inside the city.

1. The tires are due for a change. The tires are 225/50/R17 tires and I don't want run flats. I want a smooth ride and less noise. Between the ContiSportContact5 and Michelin PS4 which tires would you recommend.
2. What is the best replacement wiper blade for the BMW 320D and where can I get them in Chennai. The dealer blades are pretty pricey.
3. The battery might be dues for a change. Should it be done only in the showroom as they are quoting 50K or can it be done outside as I heard something needs to be programmed after a battery change.

1. Go with Michelin, far superior on all the parameters you're looking for.

2. Bosch.

22-23L That looks a very shocking price to even ask someone especially given its a 2018 reg M Sports. Is the price difference between GT & Normal 3 series 4-5L ?

You mentioned 2016 manufactured unless you meant 2017 then 26-26L would be more like it.

The dealer refused a non-runflat tire installation. If I get it done outside would I have any issues with the TPMS. Also I have the PS4's in my VRS. They are a great tire as you say but the only downside I they are noisy.

You can safely proceed with a reputed outside tyre dealer installation. No issues with TPMS. IF you find the PS4 a bit noisy, then go with whichever Primacy series is the latest. Had them on my earlier car and they were supremely silent.

I think the price difference in the used market between the 3 & the 3GT is more like 2.5 lakh or so.

22-23 lakh will only get you a low mileage 2014-2015 pre-LCI 3 series. I think your 2016 mfg, 2018 reg car will be worth much more - probably 27L would be a good price, but I won't be surprised if the asking price is even higher!
