I have the same issue in my C pillar. Local mechanic said that it is just a matter of a small plastic clip. Nothing to worry.

Hello anoop,
Do you know the rates charged by 3m under body antitrust paint?
The 5 year guarantee one.

re: Review: 1st-gen Honda Amaze (2013)

A friend of mine who drives the Amaze. This Amaze was earlier booked by me when I later decided to go a segment higher.

His practical mileage in city is 14-15 kmpl in Bangalore traffic. He does get 20+ kmpl on highway at 120 kmph. The recent trip to Ooty on a bad road gave him 13 kmpl with fully loaded car and boot.

I got both over body and under chassis protection. The cost was 3.6k and 3.8k respectively(including tax). The cost of under chassis was 3389 and then there was 12.36% tax.
The coating was done in Honda showroom by 3M.
Over body protection has 1 year warranty where 2 checks will be done.
Under body protection has 3 year warranty where 5 checks will be done.

I got under chassis because in Delhi, many roads are clogged with water during monsoon. Factory anti rust gets the job done, but if under body comes in regular contact with water it may rust!

Amaze Diesel owners: how much is the 'specially developed honda synthetic oil' costing you in the bill?

With Suzuki DDiS using synthetic only, this is now a vital comparison factor for those who do heavy running.

Sorry for the back to back post. Sid_deb has the answer in his own thread, he mentions engine oil is Rs.1200 and filter is Rs.300.

So Amaze wins in the diesel heart maintenance when compared to Dzire!

That's cool. :-)
This was one thing I've been waiting to see.
My cousin bought the amaze on my recommendation. Eagerly waiting for a chance to do an extensive test drive. :-)

Here in Kerala, new showroom has been opened in Calicut and the dealer has stock of Amaze for immediate delivery. One of my friend went to book one and was told if he wants white colour of the top end diesel variant it is ready for delivery. But my friend was given a waiting period of one month for carnelian red colour.

Have you gone for it?
Is it really necessary for cars that are in hill stations and less water prone areas?

re: Review: 1st-gen Honda Amaze (2013)

Although it should have been mentioned in specifications but do you know if amaze has Speed Sensing volume control. I'm inclined to believe this because some times i "feel" that volume is increasing with speed(i could be wrong).
Moreover both Jazz and City have this feature. Can anyone confirm this?
