Re: Ford EcoSport : Official Review

Thanks for all the good points on the combination of keyless entry and pushbutton start. Almost got me wanting them now

Ford marketing seems, after a terrific start, to have turned into a headless chicken.

Re: Ford EcoSport : Official Review

Ford also removed "Remote Central Locking with Flip Key" from the EcoSport AT Variant see this updated brochure on Ford Website .

Feeling very angry right now, feels like a mistake to shift from Maruti to Ford.

Re: Ford EcoSport : Official Review

Had a word with SA at Riddhi Ford Delhi, no Titaniums or O's with them for delivery and he even went on to suggest if I need a quicker delivery, Trend and Ambiente trims are easily available.

I've been happy driving Santro and i20 now and the trust in the Hyundai marque is to the extent that Verna had to be the next car but Ecosport's review and the hoopla just made me book it. Now the question is, shall I make a switch to Verna Diesel SX (O) or not?

If Ford has lost it right now, I don't expect them to deliver if I've an issue after buying Ecosport.

Re: Ford EcoSport : Official Review

There seems to be some confusion or typo in updating the Brochure. As on detailed study I realised Titanium is left with no option of locking the car.

In the so called updated brochure Titanium model is without either the Flip key or the Keyless entry so how does one locks it???
Manual unfoldable key??

Going ahead in the new brochure one again finds Push button start is still there !!

So as per me there is some confusion.

I have snipped and marked the anomaly in the brochure.

Guys cheer up Ford has brought some invisible Mental locking mechanism to Titanium model

As per interactions of customers with the Ford customer care, the Push Button Start feature has been removed from the Titanium Variant.

Their website should be updated with these corrections soon.

Re: Ford EcoSport : Official Review

If you could source the number plate frames , then the same will look good , unfortunately i couldn't source the same for mine , went ahead with 3M Double side tape instead of drilling holes on the number plate .

Wow. This Mars red and black wheel combo looks absolutely wicked. I was not a fan of the Mars Red shade but with the black wheels it suddenly looks awesome.

Need more daylight pics of this car.

How long it took for Chennai ford to provide you with the booking number after booking? When I booked (1st Sep), my SA said that he will give the booking number within a week. Still I didn't receive it. But I got the confirmation call from Ford India on 10th. Does it mean that my booking has been forwarded to Ford? Or is it still sleeping in Dealers place?

When I called Ford customer care, they say that they stopped taking booking of all the variants before 15 days and so it is getting delayed from dealers side. I'm not sure if the customer care guy is knowledgeable to respond my query. Or if it is really true that Ford had stopped taking orders for all variants.

Its a killer combo
but i still don't know how it is being done ?
does the black paint scheme cause any signs of rusting to alloys ?

Number plates I would suggest try getting from US or at-least shipping from US
I strongly Recommend TBHP Number Plates to be Launched It will be a good trend to take it forward in future

Yes it is. the complete sunfilm business has gone close to zero state.
since i feel that for AC to be effective, sun film is a must hence i bought it with more than 60% visibility.

Off Topic:
I believe this is pointless now since High Security Number Plates have been launched in India and team-bhp won't obviously be selling something with its logo when its illegal.
