I have a peculiar issue.
I feel that my wheels are not free anymore. In case it is standing on a slight gradient ( maybe downwards on a bridge) it's not moving forwards on its own like freewheel during Neutral.
Is it an issue with rust accumulation on the wheels? Can taking out the wheels and spraying WD-40 free the wheel again? or is a visit to the garage recommended?

Could be the brakes / calipers jammed too.
Would suggest taking the car to a good mechanic and get it checked.

Did you drive the car with the hand brake ?
Just drive in reverse - *EXTREME CAUTION* on an empty patch of road, say 200 meters. And drive a bit fast. (preferably have someone to guide you)

Quick question. How long is the original battery good for ? Was generally wondering as my car is 30k kms & almost 4 years old now. My spare key fob battery has drained out and my primary key doesn't quite work once in a while (like 1 in 10 times). I guess the smart key battery is on it's way out.

I replaced the key fob battery after about 3 and half years of use. Now the car is nearing it's fourth birthday and about 65k kms driven.

Is Advaith Hyundai service center near Graphite India in Whitefield, Bangalore any better than Trident Hyundai, KR Puram?

My car's next paid service is due in a month. I am reluctant to visit the Trident Hyundai service center again due to some bad experiences.

+ Black Interiors
+ Leather wrapped steering wheel with Red Stitching

+ Dual Front Airbags
+ Micro Type Antenna
+7" touch screen similar to the Asta Variant
-LED DRL's.

3. Sportz(O) is now Sportz and is also available in AT. Except for removal of LED DRL's, all other features of Sportz(O) are carried to Sportz.

4. Highlights of Magna Variant, Magna is also available in AT.
+ 2-DIN Integrated Audio in MT
+ 5" touch screen system in AT
+ USB, Aux-IN, Bluetooth Connectivity
+ Steering Mounted Audio and calling controls
- Front Fog Lamps
All other features in Magna variant remains unchanged.

Good move by Hyundai to spec up Magna Variant with Audio system and steering mounted audio controls, however its disappointing to see still no fuel statistics like Avg. Fuel Consumption, Instantaneous Fuel Consumption, Distance to empty available in MID. The new 2018 Elite i20 has been added with fuel statistics.

A real bummer to skip these in such a potent campaigner that the Grand i10 is. A bigger disappointment is non availability of passenger airbags and ABS atleast as an option in the lower trims.

This remains one of the very few automatics costing more than 5 lakhs, which still does not have all the safety features. They made it standard in i20 during the changes last month, its incomprehensible why this is not available for a car expected to cost 7 lakhs ex-showroom.

Hi,

I am not sure about Era, Magna, Sportz Trim, but fuel statistics have definitely been added to Asta and Asta(O) trim.

However the instrument cluster of Asta ans Asta(O) is different, the Asta(O) has supervision cluster while the Asta has simpler cluster. AFAIK, the instrument cluster for Asta, Sportz, Magna & Era should be same.
