I would rate //M's info on Bolt more reliable. And, if that is Tata's strategy regarding the Bolt (as per to //M's info) , then I would love to see the Bolt not before November. Wish the Zest a grand success.

Tata should be doing a all-guns-blazing media event to launch the Zest to push the interest and enthusiasm even further.
NDTV has a live-update page at http://auto.ndtv.com/news/tata-zest-...overage-634439.

The event was supposed to start at 12.30 pm. No updates yet, though!

Well that can happen, if the Zest sells more than Tata's expectations. If the Zest makes good numbers, Tata should focus more on the deliveries so that it doesn't goes the Ford EcoSport way. It seems that the Zest is the single most important product for Tata now. IMO Tata will not be prioritize the Bolt over the Zest. Only if the Zest fails to make a mark, Tata will have to pull up their socks and launch the Bolt competitively.

Re: Tata Zest : Official Review

So far, we have this much information:
  • The Zest is available in nine variants - four petrol and five diesel.
  • The petrol is available in four variants - XE, XM, XMS and XT.
  • The five diesel variants are the XE, XM, XMA, XMS and the XT.
  • The Zest diesel is available in two states of tune - 74bhp producing 190Nm of torque and the 88.8bhp churns out 200Nm of torque.
  • The base diesel variant, XE, gets the 74bhp engine, whereas the other four variants get a more powerful 88.8bhp engine which also includes the AMT.
  • The petrol version has a higher ground clearance of 175mm in comparison to the 165mm of the diesel variants.
  • The Zest is available in six colour options - buzz blue, pristine white, platinum silver, sky grey, venetian red and dune beige.
  • Outside rear-view mirrors are body-coloured and get turn indicators standard for all variants

From the variants - suffixes stated and posts earlier on this forum, does this mean there is only 1 variant offered with the AMT i.e. XMA ?
