Re: Maruti Ciaz : Official Review

More than anyone, Fiat car owners wanting an upgrade will be jumping in joy. Fiat would get it for their cars only if MUL/Tata would source it

Re: Maruti Ciaz : Official Review

Completed my 20 K kms service today. Cost me a total of 8400 INR.
Changed the useless MRF tires also to 195/60R15 Micheline 3ST tires. Paid 21.8 K INR in total for 4 tires ( got 450 INR per tire for the old ones
One surprising thing was my AC cabin filter. It was in this state inspite me having hardly driven in fresh air mode

That is the amount of pollution we are all exposed to satya. Just imagine without that filter all that carbon would have gone to your lungs.

Please post some pics with DRLs on and captured from a little more distance. The current pics are too close to see how the DRLs gel with the car. The initial impression from first pic looks great though!!!

Re: Maruti Ciaz : Official Review

waiting for more news on the Ciaz 1.6 diesel.
had almost decided on the facelifted vento when i read the news of the ciaz 1.6
Ciaz is more spacious and a much newer car in comparison.
Does anybody have any updates on the launch date and price in comparison with the 1.3 diesel.

Re: Maruti Ciaz : Official Review

Ciaz launches in Thailand on July 8th.
To gain interest, Suzuki have shown a special ‘limited edition’ Ciaz concept at the Bangkok International Auto Salon this week.

Re: Maruti Ciaz : Official Review

I guess this may be off-topic here. Excuse me for that. From the reviews, I have had an assumption that 1.3MJD is inadequate. Today I was on my 200NS on the expressway behind a trailer and noticed a ciaz approaching us rapidly. There was no room as two heavy motor vehicles were occupying both the lanes as usually. Once I cleared off them, the road was free and open and I waited for the ciaz to catch up. It was loaded(5 men on-board), and when the driver stated accelerating, I opened the throttle, redlining on each gear till 4th (NS hits a 109 on 10000rpm at 4th). Ciaz, to my surprise pulled strongly and was parallel with me. NS hits a 100kmph in 10s, and I was surprised to see the VDi perform so well.

PS- I was geared, and the expressway was empty. The entire thing lasted for 15seconds.

Your headlight upgrade looks cool and at the cost of 4K, awesome I should say.

What bulbs have you installed for the headlight and parking?

How does the DRL work? is it on throughout or there is a switch to turn it on and off?
Does it change color when you turn the indicator?

How was it installed into the existing headlight? was any wiring tampered in process?
Have you installed a cut out for your headlight bulbs and upgraded to 100/90w ?
What is the name of the DRL?

Sorry too many questions, but I also want the same look in my car. thanks in advance. Please clear all my doubts. Thanks
