Yes, no new 1.6 S-Cross is being produced. The last 1.6 S-Cross was manufactured in April 2017. Dealers were selling the existing stock. I guess the stocks are over. If they don't get it back during face-lift, thats the end of 1.6 DDIS.

That's strange! My NEXA dealer in Bombay was promising me a brand new 1.6 car within 4 weeks!
Have put the plan on hold for the facelift, though! Genuinely hoping this is not the end of the DDIS320. It's a fantastic motor.
From a short drive to the vicinity of the international airport.
Thanks to Shiekh Ershad for sharing 30K KM service bill of 1.6 S-Cross. This is post GST and revised labour charges

Hi,
- Complete chrome conversion (Badges, grille, chrome strip below the fog-lights) to Piano black |
Wow grease.monkey, your 1.6 looks Hot clap:
How's the piano black paint holding up on the Front bumper grill?
The reason I'm asking is, though primer was applied before painting, the paint on my Baleno's bumper grill is slowing peeling.

Maruti has reduced the price of parts, I'm guessing its to adjust the GST impact.
Pre GST
Engine Oil : Rs 2661
Oil Filter : Rs 724
Post GST :
Engine Oil : Rs 2452
Oil Filter : Rs 646

Yes, they have reduced price of all the spare parts. But labour charges are increased.
Adding one more to your list :
Fuel filter : 1254 vs 1149 :)

You need to open headlights and change the projectors for a proper upgrade. It will be little expensive.
Other options are AUX lamps, Led bars and Bixenon Fog Projectors. Many S-cross Alpha owners have installed Bixenon Fog Projectors and the difference in output is very significant.
Check the following posts for more details : Morimoto Mini D2S 4.0 (Retro Rides Delhi) http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/offici...ml#post4174673 Fog Bixenon Projector from Xenon Planet(It's actually from a Chinese company named IPHCAR / cindyhidlight.. You will get it for much cheaper if you import directly)

A friend of mine (not a tbhp member) has shortlisted 1.3 S-Cross Alpha and Rapid DSG Style LE diesel. He is a sedate driver and does not care much for resale value or cost of maintenance. He said that both the cars are excellent to drive with Rapid being more convenient due to AT box.
Car will be driven 80% in city. He does not like how his present Brio vibrates over bridge joints and jumps over not so even roads. He could not differentiate much on S-Cross and Rapid on these two points in his short test drive as he felt both are major step up compared to Brio. So, if somebody has driven both the cars extensively, can they please comment on the above points? I have personally recommended him S-Cross, but thought of knowing other's points as well.

80% city usage.
AT with DSG.
Not worried about resale price and neither about cost of maintenance.
The answer is simple.
RAPID it has to be.

Thank you.
The paint is holding up really well, period. Well, It's only been a few months since I had the chrome bits painted. Too early to comment on the reliability, I guess. Although, the front grille had graced a low hanging branch of a shrub and a very minute part of the paint has come off. Apart from that, all good :) I really hope the rest stays intact.
