-1.6L DDIS will be discontinued.

-A petrol engine is confirmed. I'll confirm its specs once the training begins.

-In house 1.5L diesel has also been tested on the S cross. Whether it will be launched immediately or later remains to be seen.

Re: Maruti S-Cross : Official Review

My nephew took delivery of his S Cross DDIS 200 from NEXA Kochi yesterday. A total of 43 Cars were delivered on this day, by this dealer alone; perhaps the Onam / Bakrid buying spree. Kochi has one more NEXA dealership.

What is the general feedback on Android work auto on S Cross?

My personal experience is not good and have observed the following issues :
1. Frequent freezing in AA screen and need to unplug and reconnect the phone.
2. If connect phone via Bluetooth (probably shouldn't go that ) and calls doesn't get transferred to Infotainment system and I have to put phone on speaker
3. Switch back to Suzuki screen button on AA is not functioning multiple times

Just wondering, if others are facing similar issues?

Similar issues reported by others who have tried it as well. There is also reports of the audio quality not being as good as what it was on the previous firmware without android auto. Since it is not yet an official release by Maruti, better to not upgrade and leave it for now.

Re: Maruti S-Cross : Official Review

A friend was looking to buy the S-Cross 1.6 but wasn't able to make a booking (bookings not being accepted currently), so I spoke to a Nexa Relationship Manager yesterday to find out more details. I asked specifically about the 1.6 and was told that they would get more details/possible launch on Sep 5.

Re: Maruti S-Cross : Official Review

Got this delivered on Friday (finally) from Ali Express. Its a nice little accessory which stops (almost) the mirrors getting wet during rains. Useful for the Scross which does not have heated mirrors. Installation is pretty easy. There is a double tape already on the the plate. Remove the red cover and press it hard in the gap between the glass and plastic on the mirror.

The only issue is that Ali Express took a really long time to deliver the item. The monsoon in this region is almost done.

Nice! Does it hinder the mirrors when you fold them or is that not an issue?

Absolutely not. It sits pretty high and narrow in width, so does not touch any other part of the car when you fold the mirrors.

Re: Maruti S-Cross : Official Review

Met an S-cross 1.6 owner (One of the 1.6 with highest kms on ODO)

The owner has run more than 59K KM in 2 years. He does lot of highway trips. He had driven all the way from Delhi and got his car remapped by Wolf Moto in Bangalore. I met him today in Mysore

ODO reading

Michelin tyres : Run around 59K kms and still not bald. The owner will replace them with new set of Michelin tyres after reaching Delhi!!

Two of the many Wolfed 1.6 S-Cross
Maruti S-Cross : Official Review-img_20170904_173505.jpg

We exchanged cars and drove for few kms. It was a 2015 car and as expected the clutch was much heavier than mine. The car is running with stock cat con and not as aggressive remap as mine. The mid range was same as my car and the power above 3500 RPM was little lesser.

It was nice meeting a fellow S-Cross 1.6 owner who has made the perfect use of this beast driving all over India. The brake pads were still good but MASS had changed the set at 40K KM service. Also the owner had replaced turbo vacuum pipe due to rat bite. The car had lost power and CEL which showed low boost error on SDT. The car did not have any other issues and going strong.

Re: Maruti S-Cross : Official Review

A close friend took delivery of S-Cross Delta 1.3 on the occasion of Ganesh Festival. Drove it for few kilometers and found S-Cross to be a really easy to drive car. With 1.3 under the hood it is not really sharp in terms of acceleration but since my friend's 95% running is in city, I guess this is good enough. Sharing some pics of the car I that clicked.

Re: Maruti S-Cross : Official Review

Most of the S-Cross 1.6 owners would be knowing that this engine is very sensitive to Fuel quality. Reliance diesel feels the best for this engine.

I have tried something new and done the testing as usual and presented with facts
