You are right with your observation. I did checked this thing with him. Pre-GST his EMI was around 39k, post GST it got increased to 49k and now with latest amendment (i don't know what it is), it has been revised to 44k.

^ The residual value would have also increased. Please check that as well.

I am not very sure about fenders. It looks the same in both models. Headlight swap would be the most expensive if you go with Alpha variant headlights (should cost more than 40k only for headlight). Everything else is direct fit. I am being told that someone has already done this and it was quite expensive. I will share details if I get to know. Also its not possible to do this change within 50k for sure, not to forget painting and labour charges.
Thanks Dr.
If I ever do it I will go with zeta headlights..

Please do share the breakup of expenses whenever you get that information.

I recommend you go thru the entire discussion on Team-BHP related to GST Impact on Car Lease: URL

Correct - and this one is a big impact and a deal breaker for Pre-GST Lease on Large cars.

The residual value - If you are referring to the value that one needs to pay at the end of loan period, then it is 1% of the loan amount for us. This has not changed due to GST.

I did go through this thread and also checked read it somewhere that there is a relief of 35% (compared to the post-GST rates) with the new amendment. So, compared to pre-GST lease, there is still a substantial increase in the EMI. But, we just have to live with this. I do not think there will be any further relief from the govt.

From the feedback received from you guys so far, this did not look like a 'good' deal. So, I may just pass this and go for a new car sometime early next year.

Thanks for your inputs.

My car has this creaking sound - sound similar to that from a rusty spring - and I told about this when I had given my car for its first paid service today morning. The advisor said it is because of the play of the brake sensor and they have lubricated it. I asked him about the brake switch and he was of the opinion that brake switch is perfectly ok. They delivered the car at my office after service. When I took the car in the evening, I noticed that the sound has returned after pressing the brake for 3-4 times. Will it be the brake switch? There is no warning lights, so I assume that the sensor is working fine, there will be some issue with the external parts of the brake switch. I am not in a mood to make another complaint, otherwise would have mailed a complaint by now.

And they couldn't redeem the mynexa points for this too,
Later they asked me to leave mynexa card with them and they would go to nexa showroom and redeem it. So I paid the bill amount after deducting the amount for the points. No, they won't let to redeem entire points, I have around 2600 points and they will allow redemption of only 2500 ponts.

I had the issue of making calls through Android auto. Incoming calls were perfectly OK. But, the moment I try to make a call, it will just pop up 'calling' and immediately, the call will get disconnected.
I used to disconnect Android Auto and make calls through blue tooth.

This problem is solved now. Issue is Android Auto do not support dual SIM phones. To make calls, the default setting for making calls to be set to one of the SIMs.
I had not set the default calling as I wanted to select the SIM when a call is placed.

Now, before get in for driving, I make SIM 1 the default call option and calling through Android Auto works perfectly.

Also, messages / Whatsapp etc can be effectively replied through Google Assistant voice-text option.

Can you post some pictures of the dash cam mounted on the windshield? I plan to fix mine on the printed black film with the lens just under it.
