I have one of my alloy wheels bent from the inside edge. What is the solution?

Shall I get the fixed? None of the service centres are able to provide the service.

Shall I get a new one? Checked with various dealers in Bangalore, unfortunately none have the old model.

If anyone has any pointer , please let me know.

You could try ordering the rim through boodmo or place an order with an MGP store. I would not recommend fixing it, and the rim costs somewhere around 5k. It seems to be in stock with the Boodmo supplier https://boodmo.com/catalog/part-whee...79/?pin=560070 . Only doubt I have is the colour code of the rim, since initially it was silver and then I believe it was changed to grey in the later days of the first version.

Re: Maruti S-Cross : Official Review

Dear Bhp'ians,
After hunting for almost a year to replace our 12 year old Swift Vxi Petrol and test driving plethora of cars
we finally booked S Cross Zeta on 30th September coinciding with my 40th Birthday.
The dealer didn't have any white S cross vehicles. So we had to wait and got the car delivered on 23rd October 2019.
It's the same date on which we got our Swift home 12 years back.
The Booking and Delivery were uneventful.
We got to see the vehicle in the yard on the day it landed.
We did a Pre-registration inspection and we were provided with the VIN numbers of two white cars.
After we chose the one we wanted, it was got to showroom on the delivery date. Once we gave the nod after a predelivery inspection, the car was washed thoroughly.
The accessories we opted were fitted upon.
The stage was set and we took the delivery in the evening.
No fuss, no drama. All went smooth by god's grace.
Dealer & City : Nexa, Warangal
OTR : Rs 11,70,727
Original quoted OTR was Rs 13.20L.
Offers: As advertised by Maruti. We Got upto 1.5 lakhs off including exchange bonus and also got additional 3 years extended warranty.
Freebies: 14k worth accesories. Free Perfume and Idol during the delivery.
Presenting to you : Serena (My daughter has christened it)

Where exactly did you get this challan?

The damage was 400/-.

The challan is from August, I was just checking DTP website and saw it last week. Got 3 challans, 2 on Delhi Meerut Expressway near Yamuna Bridge and 1 on Yamuna Expressway. Each challan amounting to 400/-.

7.75-8.5 lakhs depending upon the vehicle condition

BTW, it's quite a fresh vehicle, why do you wanna upgrade so soon?

Really that high?? I thought around 6.5 lakhs is what I would get. Toyota dealer quoted 5.65 lakhs. With the traffic situation, I want to buy and automatic. Driving kms are reduced so moving to a petrol version as well

I got 6.3 lakhs quote for my August 2015, 97000 km run Ciaz ZDI from Maruti True value. Skoda quoted 6 lakhs.

5.65 is too low, even 7 is low as yours is the alpha variant with barely 50k km on odo.

You should try True value as they give the best quotes for Marutis. Toyota will definitely undervalue your Scross.

Thanks. I will also try Cars24. Does Truevalue also purchase cars without purchasing another Maruti?

Yes they do. Only advantage of buying Maruti again is that paltry 25k exchange bonus. But since you already have the best that Maruti can offer and want to upgrade, you have to use your negotiation skills to get a good value.

These used car dealers undervalue our cars so much. For an example, Volkswagen guys quoted me 5.15 and I told them loud and clear I am not entering their showroom again if I don't get 6.25 lakhs for my car. In a few minutes the sales advisor calls me and says his manager is ready to offer 6 lakhs for my car.

It's hard to move Tatas and Mahindras in used car market, Marutis are pretty easy for them to move. There is no reason for you to sell your car at a price less than 7.5 lakhs. Also try Olx and Quikr too.

1.1 lakh km in 3 years is some heavy usage. Congratulations!

Are there any signs of clutch wear and suspension wear? The 1.3 is a terrifically reliable engine and you can easily clock 3 lakh km without any issues
