Can you please post pics of the alloys you are getting?

Thanks for the input on the spoiler, will not go for the same as well

I suggest you get the steering wheel covers now, I find the grip wanting in my car, there are no indents on the steering wheel to grip your fingers as well

Steering wheel wrap, I intend going to Karlsson, have good experience in my VW car.Seat covers will wait for a bit before deciding, Nexa Bimal will get the same next week.

Alloy wheels not decided but have a few options, will post by this week end.

Meanwhile here is the test drive car taken to check the ease of parking

@volkman: I think the price was around 7500 or so. Actually I negotiated on the exchange price. Eventually ended up paying Rs 2500/- per tyre after exchanging the older one. I hope that gives you some idea.

Re: Maruti S-Cross : Official Review

I didn't go for the S Cross but I was really impressed with the way Nexa RM's handle everything. So professional and honest. Maruti has definitely made a good decision. I remember how awful was the SA when I went to check out the Swift a year back.
As for the Scross, lack of Six airbags, light build and Maruti's crash test record was the reason why we didn't go for it. 1.6 is a beast though.

Congratulations on your new S-Cross Anand!

Can you please share a straight side profile view of your car with the new alloys? Would like to see how the S-Cross looks with all black alloys (Momo Next in mind).

Re: Maruti S-Cross : Official Review

I wished to participate in this discussion much earlier. I have been following this thread for sometime. I booked a Jazz VMT diesel in August. After TD-ing the S-Cross I cancelled my booking with Honda and took delivery of my Premium Silver S-Cross 200 Zeta on Sunday, 6th of September.

I will attach pictures of the car soon. I have so far driven over 1400kms and will be taking the car for its first service tomorrow.

Thumbs up to this community. My membership had not been approved, so I couldn't indulge in the discussions earlier. However, never too late I guess.

I hail from New Delhi and have recently bought a Suzuki S-Cross. I visited Karol Bagh the same day of my delivery and got:

1. Tyres upgraded to Michelin Primacy 3ST from the stock JK Elanzo (kept the same size & profile). Total cost = 19.2k (8.8k - 4k per tyre)

2. I got a set of 16" Neo Alloys in exchange of the bland stock alloys. In my view, most of the credit for the S-Cross' bland looks goes to those ugly rims. With a better looking alloy set, the car looks much better. Total cost = 10k (24k - 14k)

Total cost incurred: 29.2
Satisfaction level shooted from 7/10 to 9/10

I am new here and don't know how stuff works. My name is rahul (user: sunejarahul). I had posted this reply but it had gone for the review and now it is posted under anand's name.

Anyhow, I'll take some more pictures of the car and share them ASAP.

Re: Maruti S-Cross : Official Review

My first post on Team-BHP, yeeeepeee.

On a more sober note, I am getting delivery of my 1.3 Alpha next week and really exited about it. Wanted to inquire from the already current owners of the S-cross that, is the infotainment system tether capable? Meaning once connected with a smartphone can it access the internet using the wired or wireless hotspot? The European version of the infotainment system can (one of my friends using this in UK) and do stuff like live traffic update with the Nokia Here maps, more details here:

http://www.cnet.com/news/garmin-beco...or-cabin-tech/

This is pretty old news, so I am really hoping that this has already been ported in the Indian version.

That cleared my doubt! I was wondering how your membership got just approved when your handle is showing Oct 2014 as joining date.

Your car looks stunning in these alloys!

Heartiest Congratulations and wishing many happy miles with this car.

The choice of alloys and tyres is superb and it was a wise decision IMO not to go with the OEM spoiler- I myself hate drilling holes in the car.

Since you have already hinted that an ownership review isn't coming out in recent future, may be you can treat us with some nice photoshoot.

Regards
