Re: Ford Endeavour : Official Review

Did anyone get the delivery of a 3.2 so far?
Looks like another 400+ was sold or shipped to dealership in February.

Where did you get that information?

Also, were they the 3.2 Trend or Titanium models?

The sales thread for Feb I guess. 410 units were billed to the dealers last month and that's including all variants.

Congratulations! I am glad you opted for the new Endeavour after the initial confusion. Looks amazing. We definitely need more pictures of your lovely beast. Also, let us know your thoughts after driving around a bit.

Congrats!

I personally would like to see the silver bumper trim in black - would look awesome!

Maybe that could be painted...

Let us know how it behaves.

Congratulations !!!

Questions for you:

1. When did you book?
2. What price you got billed at? Pre budget or Increased Prices
3. I see you got some accessories - Did you buy Ford accessories?

Please do publish your ownership experience with picture. Happy to contribute once I get my delivery.

Happy Driving...

I booked on 20/1/2016 as soon as it was launched(Dealership refused to take booking before that i was trying from December)
My vehicle was billed from the factory on 28/2/2016 so i had to pay pre budget price (price has gone up by 133000/- post budget)
Many of the accessories are not available. I purchased front seat neck rests, pillow, door visors, paint protection and under body coating. Other accessories i have purchased online like dash cam, Satellite Navigator, HUD.
Performance is good. Fuel economy is around 6 to 9 in city and 9 to 12 on the highway.(Hardly run 100 kms will update after i cross 1000 kms in my ownership report)
1 big drawback is the 12v power outlets keep supplying power even after vehicle is switched off and locked so i have to disconnect the dash cam and reconnect it every time vehicle is switched off and on.

Wow - the budget effect is ridiculous!

This is why I went immediately on that day to book a Storme. I think someone posted that the difference pre-/post-budget was 60k for that vehicle!

The very next day Tata updated pricing in their systems, so no chance to change from 4x2 to 4x4, but the 4x2 is fine for on-road and a driver in any case...

Congrats doc!! The Dark Knight looks handsome and menacing. Hope to see you around the streets of mangalore.

Do you know which models / colours they have in stock now at Cauvery. And if they are selling it at pre-budget prices?

I am not sure about the prices, but they should have couple of Trend variant available in both 2.2 and 3.2.
Titanium trim is in short supply across India and would be very difficult to get one with pre-budget price.

Re: Ford Endeavour : Official Review

Good news for all those who have booked/planning to book the new Endeavour. A little birdie (an insider) told me that Ford is going to ramp up the production in April and they may focus on 3.2 Titanium. Hope Ford gets the forecasting right this time. No clarity on the post-budget prices yet.
Secondly, installation of SatNav is possible. However, for this, the infotainment system has to be sent to Chennai and the entire process may take a month to complete.
