Yes indeed! The Innova Crysta Gx diesel automatic variant makes immense sense. The 8 seater is more practical for families. That’s what I had booked yesterday at Harsha Toyota,Kothaguda,Hyderabad. The delivery timeline has been mentioned by the SA as stretching to as long as 4 months.

Re: Toyota Innova Crysta : Official Review

For folks in Hyderabad, the license of Yashoda Krishna Toyota in Uppal has been cancelled due to some Temporary Registration malpractices.

I bought my ZX from them in July and had a unbelievably horrible experience. Please be careful and avoid their entire group if possible.

Yes this news was on social media as well.
It's crazy how many issues are there with buying a new car nowadays.

The demand for the Chrysta has been enormous.
I just got mine in Jan and can confirm that it is a superb vehicle.

Good luck with getting your vehicle in the shortest time possible!

In Hyderabad, always buy from Harsha Toyota, they are always genuine, service prices are reasonable and all their staff in sales & service are very courteous. We bought all 3 MPVs from Toyota stable (2004 Qualis, 2008 Innova & 2018 Crysta) from Harsha Toyota, we have 5 star satisfaction from them in sales and service from the past 18 years.

I never tried any other Toyota dealerships, service centers in Hyderabad but assumed that all Toyota dealerships would be genuine.

Few bad apples will always be present, but unlike many other brands, Toyota always takes action against such dealers when complaints start mounting against a particular dealer. Like Maruti Suzuki, Toyota has a strong hold on their dealers.

1. What is the primary aim of this equipment - Is it higher power output or for Fuel efficiency.
2. What is the Return Of Investment on this equipment.

I am looking at the practical level - since you have used this product for some time and had done the analysis.
Yes,very pragmatic queries. After going to such lengths and expense, what’s the outcome?

It is also a holder for the cargo net (an accessory that was sold earlier by Toyota) that is tied from one end to another, and makes it convenient to store small loose items.

Very old discussion, but just to answer this briefly, Sankar managed to transform an already fast people mover to a people moving rocket That and along with it some extra fun while driving is the outcome. Perhaps the majority including me are satisified with the power output in the stock form, but I am sure some people would be interested in getting some extra punch. That especially when such a huge engine is tuned very conservatively.

I remember reading somewhere that the Crysta (2.4) has 12.6 liters in reserve (55 liter tank capacity). Was trying to watch the reserve to reserve mileage and I happened to fuel up right after the low fuel indicator came on and the full tank came to around 42.5.

Re: Toyota Innova Crysta : Official Review

Hi All,

It has been one year since I got Innova Crysta 2.4 Z MT. It is a MY2020 model, purchased with a very generous discount from Nippon Toyota Trivandrum.

The Innova replaced VW Jetta and Hyundai Creta, a rather weird combination! From the 27,000 KM on ODO, I can firmly say that - Innova Crysta has "good" ride quality, certainly not the best. Fuel economy ranges between 12 - 14 KM/L in both driving conditions. Front dive during braking is irritating, and the spongy brake feel doesn't make it better. Audio quality strictly average a speaker and under seat sub woofer has made it better.

Now the good things, what a mile muncher! 4 lane highway runs are super fun, straight line stability is amazing, you will learn how to negate a turn in triple digits once you get used to it. A workhorse , truly go anywhere vehicle. BHP is enough for a 2-Tonne ladder frame behemoth, a bit more would be fun! (missing the tuned VW Jetta). So to make the Innova more car like - behold a set of Bilstein Dampers, An Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs (which was replaced by stock later) and a much needed EBC Brake Pads.

Now the Innova is better, no front dive, no lateral head movement, potholes are bearable, no wallowing and braking is amazing! Was running on lowering springs for a while, i think it requires a 18 Inch wheel upgrade. Sadly I like the stock 17 inch so removed them, the only thing pending is a tyre upgrade in some months after the Bridgestone's wear out!

Re: Toyota Innova Crysta : Official Review

The ODO turned 66001 yesterday night. The only difference between the day I took delivery and now, after all this km’s is the New Car smell. It’s such a joy taking my Garnett Red 2.8 auto into the highways.

Sorry for the bad quality image.

Re: Toyota Innova Crysta : Official Review

Folks, can you please help me with the following?

1) Has any one got the 360 degree Camera fit in 2021 facelift Innova Crysta Z AT? I believe this is no longer available as official accessory from Toyota.

2) The OEM speakers are strictly average. Has any one got it replaced with better speakers without wiring change in 2021 facelift Innova Crysta Z AT? Would be great to know if any one has got it done from Dealer or some references for Audio specialists in Bangalore preferably in north Bangalore

Wanted to check if it also doubles up as a dash cam, i.e. storing recorded videos, as I have come across the same in Youtube videos and also no mention about dash cam in your review notes (apologies if I missed that).

If I get the MTM installed outside say for want of night vision camera, will it void the warranty?
The MTM which is also referred to as 360 degree camera is very useful. I guess there are models which have recording function. CARSONICS accessory shop in Secunderabad seems to have a solution. You can sound them out.
