This is interesting, did they tell you what did they upgrade it for? Anyone else having any idea on the upgrade? Mine is a 2022 October 2.4 Diesel AT Crysta.

AFAIK, The T-Gloss Mech is a name given to the particular job which involves the ECU update. They don't do anything else apart from it. Check with your SA and he will say the same.

As per SA, It's more for engine performance which in-turn efficiency.

No. T-Gloss is the name for car-detailing. In my case, it's for the lubes in door hinges. Check the website for more details.

Hello Guys,

Just want to check if one can swap the Crysta Gx variant headlights and cabin lights with Z variant headlights and Cabin lights?

Do we need any modification in wiring or simply just plug and play?

Cabin lights would be relatively easy except for the ambient light. Unfortunately, headlight swap would be very difficult. Z and V come with Auto Levelling and that would require level sensors .

Thanks buddy.
So at the max auto leaving wouldn't work. but we should be able to plug and play rest all. correct? I see quite a few videos on you tube which claims fitting the OEM Z variant headlamps on Gx.

while for cabin lights - infact making the ambient light work was the main aim.

has anyone tried it?

If getting a projector setup is the aim, there are far better options. You can contact FE retrofit for projector setup retrofit which offer far better lighting performance.

I have a nice projector setup in the Fog lamp and even have upgraded upper and lower lamps with LED. but just love the looks of OEM Z headlights. + in OEM low beam comes with the projectors hence inclined towards it.

As per this gentleman, AT GB costs 9 lacs , time stamp 4:27.
On a different note, it is always better to get the AT oil changed.

Quick question - I have a cracked windshield on my 2022 G AT Diesel. Anyone replaced the windshield? anything I should take care of while the ASC replaces it? what does it cost and how much time?

I had replaced couple of years ago, costed about 18-20K back then. I had claimed insurance and was charged 2K . Installation takes about 2 days as the glue has to dry before delivering. Most likely you have to get a new fast tag and RTO registration sticker if you have one.

Headlamps are direct fit and your manual alignment coupler can fit the Z variant HL's. But suggest you to stick to G version HL's or get better projectors installed as mentioned by few here. Low beam illumination is pathetic in Z variant HL's.

Cabin lamp is not plug and play, needs wiring modification.
