No specific change observed after this ECU update but after DPF unit changed a year ago. Here is the story:- I had my injectors, DPF convertor assembly changed within 1 year of use, thanks to the faulty sensors and sub-standard fuel impacting injectors. After the change, noticed turbo working sound from 1st gear to 2nd gear (noticed in every other Crysta and Old gen as well). This turbo was very silent prior to the change.

Re: Toyota Innova Crysta : Official Review

Yesterday, on my way back from Mantralayam, I encountered an issue with the car's AC. When switched on the AC using the Auto button, it started blowing hot air, which left me a bit puzzled. Switched on the AC switch but to no avail. I then contacted a service advisor in Chennai, who suggested to visit the nearest Toyota service centre. Stopped the car to check under the bonnet for any abnormalities.

Fortunately, I was on my way back through Anantapur, (~45 km from my location) so drove there without AC. After parking, turned off the car and called the SA and he promptly brought an AC technician. Upon starting the car, the air from the AC was back to normal. I inquired about a possible issue with the damper motor. The technician checked it and found that it had reset automatically when I turned off the car (I hadn't thought to do that). He verified by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery terminals and confirmed that the damper is functioning properly.

Re: Toyota Innova Crysta : Official Review

My 2021 Crysta has been consistently delivering a mixed fuel economy of 14.1 in eco mode. But off late , it has dropped significantly to 13.1 . The engine has hit barely 40000 kms and is taken care of very well. The air filter etc are clean and neat. Can anyone suggest what else needs to be checked for this sudden drop. The power of the vehicle, pickup , noise, etc remain unaffected

Are you filling up at the same fuel station? Check again by filling up at the same station and do a test. Try mixing the diesel additive for 1 or 2 fills and check the results.

I am in the same scenario (MT 2.4L, 2021 model and 45k km) and what I could decipher is: with AC On always, during highway trips with 7 people, i change to Normal mode and accelerate fast with avg cruising of 100kmph. If driven between 70 - 90kmph, FE goes above 14.5kmpl. On city drives, it is always around 12.8 - 13.5kmpl. Tyre pressure at Front maintained at 33 and rear at 36 bar Normal air.
  1. Did you try accelerating slowly?
  2. Not lugging the engine - using appropriate gear

Innova Crysta 2.7 (Petrol) service costs?

Hi all,

Today morning I sent my 2021 Innova Crysta 2.7 Automatic for it's 40,000 kms service.

The estimate that has been sent to me is 40,000/-

Even after excluding the interior and exterior detailing (Tgloss premium interior and exterior), the service cost is approximately 28,000/-

Attached screenshot for the entire think. Does this look alright? Or have they added a bunch of stuff that should not be there?

Cheers everyone and wish you all a very happy new year!

The following non-essential tasks were performed:
1. Wheel Balancing: (Unless there is wobbling, this might not have been necessary. Considering only 8 grams of weight was used, it appears the adjustment was not required.)
2. Wheel Alignment ( FNG do a better job)
3. TGLOSS Services:
• AC Duct Cleaning and Disinfection
• Premium Exterior Care
• Premium Interior Enrichment
• Mech Care

Uncertain if the following were truly necessary:
• Injector Cleaning
• Engine Flush
• Radiator Assembly - (R&R)
• Front Stabilizer Bar - (R&R)
R&R probably means remove and reinstall

Bravo82in has put it correctly. Whole load of nonsense in that estimate. Absolutely No need for engine flush and injector cleaner this early. Also, why do they want to remove and refit the radiator, front stabilizer bar?
You can buy Innova wiper blades at half the price from outside, skip it.
