What cold tyre pressure do you run?

I dont think its a sharp edge of the stone that did it. It would have brushed the alloy or the tyre and there are no such marks.

I maintain the recommended tyre pressure of 33.

I agree with you samabhi. There is no way that a sharp edge of the stone would have come in contact with that part of the tyre. It is so inside and very close to the alloy wheel edge. When this tyre went over the stone, it must have got pinched between the stone and the alloy wheel rim and the weak sidewall gave way. You can also observe the minute black dust/particles on the alloy wheel just adjacent to the tyre where it has ruptured. According to me ideally you should get a replacement under warranty.

Toyota to launch Innova Crysta Touring Sport.

New variant will feature styling changes but will remain mechanically unchanged; expected to launch next month. A similar variant is already on sale in the Indonesian market called the Venturer.

On the outside, the ‘Touring Sport’ will feature black body cladding on the bumper and wheels arches along with side skirts for a bolder look. Also prominent is the generous use of chrome embellishments throughout the car, including the front grille, outside side rear view mirrors (ORVMs) and side cladding as well. It will also feature an exclusive ‘Wine Red’ exterior colour option. This variant will ride on new 16-inch black alloy wheels which do look very weedy in a vehicle this size, especially with this variant’s wheel cladding

Again another limited based on basic models and not on the top models.:Frustrati. There is not even a rear-wiper but they are providing alloy wheels and body cladding.

Rear Wiper IMHO is much more important than Alloys or chrome or body cladding. :deadhorse

Currently all models in India have rear wiper from GX to ZX. And also all variants have ABS and atleast 3 airbags (with 7 in ZX).

Looks like this variant pictured here is for some other market because this particular shade is available in Southeast Asian region.

Added some accessories to my Innova Crysta.

New wallpaper on the head unit

Congratulations on the new acquisition!! Is this the AT or manual? A small suggestion, if possible do remove the front bull bar. It's more of a safety hazard than anything else. It'll most probably hamper the functioning of the airbags in case if an accident!!
Wishing you a stressfree ownership!!

That front guard will block a lot of air to the inter cooler. That and the number plate will block a considerable portion of the grill. What is left uncovered at the top is too little. Yes it will save the bumper from low speed crashes. I am on the hunt for a smaller more subtle design front bar.

If you are looking for bumpers may i suggest,
M-tek. Their catologue has few designs and am pretty sure they ship it to you.

After having had to replace the front bumper of my Crysta recently I need one. The bumper took slow speed hit on the LHS corner to a granite foundation of about 2 foot in height. The hit was bad enough to cave in the area near the fog light and make a tear.

So far haven't found one that i like but the one below comes close. It too blocks the grill.

Edit: Just called them on the number given on the website. Unfortunately they dont have dealers in Trivandrum or Nagercoil. They said they will courier it to me, price is 11K. Haven't decided on having it getting shipped across though.

Will not be of much use to you but replacing tyres at 30k? I am shocked! I have never had to replace tyres before 70k in any car!
