It is [sadly] the same almost everywhere. We have to live with it.

I would request you to post pictures after you are done with pampering your ride. And please few standalone pics of the tires as well.
TIA

Re: Toyota Fortuner : Official Review

Pls advice ICE set up for the new fortuner. Although the HU is functional but the speakers are not up-to the mark. Pls advice a solution . A normal Amp, woofer and speaker upgrade considering the space. Mostly I have 6 occupants in my car. Pls also advice best place in Delhi / NCR. Will it have any impact on the warranty? I did enquire from Galaxy Toyota, they do not do the speaker upgrade.
Many thanks.

Motor Concept probably is the best shop in Delhi. You can find any type of setup there starting from very basic to competition level setups.

Its scheduled for a quartz/ceramic coat detailing with Dazzle (operated by a BHPian) after 3 days.
Congratulations on your new ride

265/60/R18 is the stock size right?
What is the advantage of the change of brand?

More than the change in brand, he would benefit from a change in type of tire, that is, from a highway [HT] tire to all-terrain [AT] tire.

After some 15,000 kms, the HT tires may simply spin on off-road surface and provide less cushioning on bad roads, because that is how the HT's are designed but AT's will solve that. In fact, the change is massive, you feel like driving the same car but with an all new high-tech suspension.

Thanks ecosport. Yes, 265/60/R18 is stock size. In 4x4 AT stock tyres are ok for city driving. But my needs are bit more. I have to go 4-5 times to Himachal/Uttrakhand in a year during holidays. With lots of luggage on roof carrier.
Places i go generally have only tracks devoid of any tar (e.g., Joshimath to Badrinath, Chirgaon to Chanshal Pass, whole of PIN valley/Daranghati etc.). Yokos AT/-S self-cleaning tyres are the ones for the job.

A question to the Guru's of Off roading

Does the older version of Fortuner 4x4 Auto (2015 model) come with Rear Differential Lock? What about MT version? Did it come with Rear Differential Lock?

As far as I know,it doesnt have a diffential lock.
That is what differentiates a fortuner and a Pajero sport.

Neither Pajero(Old & Sport) or Fortuner(new & old) came with rear differential lock. Only the new Endeavour comes with rear differential lock from factory.

Re: Toyota Fortuner : Official Review

Guys
Heard that Toyota is going to launch the 360 degree view system as an official accessory.

(One camera each will be installed to the bottom of ORVMs and one to the front.
The system will collate images from 4 cameras and will be displayed on the OEM screen)
Will try and get an image for reference

Any information/update on the same?
