The expanse of black on the front bumper looks quite overdone in the facelift. It was quite well balanced in the previous version. I like the alloys though. The design is much better than the earlier one which was essentially the alloys of the 1.2 Baleno painted black.

Drive on,
Shibu.

They were at least painted black, these alloys are the EXACT same as the ones on the refreshed 1.2 Baleno. Maruti just getting lazier

Differentiation wise the front and rear bumpers were sufficient I feel. The old plane jane alloys though painted black were such an insipid design. In that respect I feel the new alloys look much better. For a bit extra cash we can get those blacked out ourselves. I in-fact tried my level best to get the black spoked alloys but Nexa was not willing to play ball.

Anyway the 1.0L BoosterJet was and still remains the primary draw for me and in my experience should be that of anyone going for this variant. Everything else is obtainable in the top variant of the regular Baleno at almost 1.5 lakh less.

Drive on,
Shibu.

Thanks for the correction. Next time I will have to do the same, buy oil and then ask them to fill. But what about oil filter? How do you manage that?

Well, I usually call the service centre a day in advance and they get the filter in time for the service. Not really faced an issue in regard to this, and I am talking about the original Suzuki filter from Japan as mentioned in my post here

Thanks to Ivin P for sending this information in. Heartfelt gratitude for sharing it with other enthusiasts via this Team-BHP page!

Below is the service chart and just see the Baleno RS cost per service. Every 40k service includes fuel additive, iridium spark plugs and some more items to be changed, which are all SGP parts made in Japan, hence the high price.

Looks like they borrowed the etios’s bumper.

Thanks for sharing. How does it look in person compared to the existing RS bumper? I was thinking to change to this bumper from my current stock RS setup, but some who saw it in person said old one looked better. But somehow I have a liking for this one too. Also noticed the new RS doesn't get that blue colored seats from the face-lift. Looks much better in this shade than blue.

The new front bumper looks like an exact replica of Etios Liva :(

IMHO the previous generation RS was definitely a looker. Please do not change the bumper.

Actually I changed the front bumper in my ZETA CVT with previous generation RS bumper

Re: Maruti Baleno RS : Official Review

The bumper looks better in person and more than Etios, it looks inspired from the Civic TypeR:

Meanwhile a video of the RS in Red:

Re: Maruti Baleno RS : Official Review

Wondering if you could get the new bumper retrofitted in old RS. Alloys are too sparkly IMHO.

I think it would be a perfect fit considering that the face-lifted car's only differentiator is the bumper and there is no sheet metal change as far as I know.

Yes. It can be retrofitted without ANY modification.

I can verify this shortly. 40K service coming up in another 2K kms. Parts are always in short supply so will have to give them a heads up on the spark plugs etc.

Is the seat cover stock Nexa? Looks very nice.
