30,000 discount is good. You can negotiate further for some accessories. Go for the parking sensors but better to avoid the parking camera as it will delete the anti glare function in the Inside Rear View Mirror which will be a problem during night drives in the city/highway. Instead ask for scuff plates (illuminated or plain is upto you) and rear parking sensors & art leather seat covers if you like them. In all it should add up to an additional 10k if they agree to give all of these free of cost!

Will suggest to ask for extended warranty, this is what I usually ask for and if you are planning to keep it for long, it will be one if the best thing to get, as a gift or even otherwise.

Thanks for the suggestions, sir. I will surely try to negotiate for more on these lines.

Exactly my point also, sir, as i intend to keep the car for long with me. The 3rd year extended warranty along with RSA is being provided for 7K odd rupees. I am planning to buy it later (before 2 year warranty ends), as i might get a discount on it later. But will try to get it for free in the deal if possible :).

Front grille should be around 1800/-. Not sure if it is with tax or without though. Pretty well priced if you ask me.

Thanks Abhinav. I sat down with SA today morning to check their system. Cost is 1200(part) + 400(estimated labor cost).

Now there are 2 challenges.

1) The part seems to carry long waiting from Ford.

2) They haven't fitted it inany car yet. They are not sure if it will fit or not. It seems such modifications are those wherein the owner should approach them with full preparedness about fitting and all rather than expecting them to master it. For instance it took me 5 mins to explain the difference between regular Figo and Sport. Later on he helped me check multiple options listed in their system. However he is still not sure if it will be direct fit. :Frustrati

Can anyone throw some light on second point.

I don't see why it will not be a direct fit. At the most, the clips that attach to the car may be different.
The difference in grill is between the Aspire and the Figo since there is a size difference there.

It looks like I will ask SA to order clips as well

Great to read all the feedback on this post. I have just booked a black Aspire Diesel Sports to replace my Punto MJD

My "Sunsuni" Figo Sports Diesel arrived at the dealer stockyard yesterday. ODO showing 8km. PDI has been completed to satisfaction. I have opted for Ford 50-50 finance scheme wherein i have paid half the amount now, rest i can either pay in next 12 months or convert into a loan at the end of 12 months. Always good to have options in hand. RTO process will start and expecting delivery by end of this month. :)

Thank you Harish :)

Final OTR is 8.7 which includes 3rd year extended warranty, body coloured parking sensors and side mouldings.

Figo S vs regular Figo.

I got the regular Figo in Feb'18 and upsized to 195 55 R15. This seems to have increased the ground clearance by 6mm. Coming from Punto I feel the ride is bouncy. Is this just me who feel Figo ride is bouncy compared to older model. I am contemplating a change of suspension springs because this bounciness is killing half the joy this car could offer.

Has anyone driven both the variants. How different is the Sport variant in terms of ride. Figo S springs seem to be the safest bet but I want to be sure if the difference is significant or I should be looking at some other performance springs.

Congrats on your new car!!

Regarding the scheme - does it mean that your car will be registered without mortgage info since you haven't taken any loan yet?

May be you are aware, but just to reiterate -

195/55 -> 107.25mm sidewall. (Figo S)
175/65 -> 113.75mm sidewall. (Figo)
195/60 -> 117mm sidewall. (Punto Emotion Pk)

With the low profile tyres a considerable amount of cushioning is lost, esp. if the car is equipped with stiff springs. Performance suspension setup will further worsen the ride quality.
