Re: Tata Nexon : Official Review

Been trying for an insurance cover for the Nexon in almost all websites. Surprisingly very few options available and even if you approach the insurance companies they aren't reverting as enthusiastically for a Tata car as they would have for any other make. Not sure if anyone else experienced the same.
I am just trying to save a few extra bucks by not taking the insurance from the dealer and utilise the amount in some accessories.

Try Royal Sundaram online/telephonically. They are helpful and are the cheapest. When I bought my Hexa and a friend bought a Duster, we bought from them after getting quotes online/offline.

+1. Royal Sundaram folks were very prompt in follow-up. I am also going with them and they gave lowest quotation. They are giving more discount on phone. Their number in Hyd is +914471055901.

Thanks guys. Just received a quote from them which is very competitive and has almost all features including cashless. The rep on the phone was very professional and offered the insurance realisation on the day of invoice to avoid any hassles in registration process.
Cheers.

was in constant touch with the sales manager at Fairdeal motors Srinagar Kashmir. He was very courteous and professional plus had very good knowledge about the car and its features. Not that i didnt know about the car specifications but i still enjoyed the way he presented the car. I had messaged him after a test drive some 20 days back that i will be booking the car today and he was giving me details and new updates almost every time something came up.

Today i took my wife along to book the car so was very excited and hoped I receive a very nice and professional treatment from people at Tata. Once i reached, the same person with whom i was in touch with received me and escorted...
Hi Syed. Many congratulations on your booking! Hope you have many happy miles with this new Tata Generation. I absolutely agree that the White Dual-Tone looks absolutely smashing and too many of us has dethroned the Glasglow Grey from the top pedestal.

Do share your delivery experience. As expressed before, I might book the Diesel AMT top variant in the same color scheme. The dealers here have not yet started to take the bookings.

All the best for your new ride! Do you share your delivery and initial ownership experience!

White and Grey surely looks great as all the black plastics and grey color totally accentuates the overall look of the car. I had chosen Red dual tone variant but i thought this looks better but still i am confused have i chosen the right color.

Thanks for the wishes and i surely will share my experience about the delivery once i get my hands on it.

Regarding your choice for the AMT model the dealer i booked my car at told me no booking will take place till mid of this year which was surprising considering the fact near production model will be unveiled at the Auto Expo. I enquired about the same and they said the instructions have come directly from Tata motors India so can't help. Now is it a confirmed report i am not sure as yet.

I hope the issue you are facing gets resolved soon by Tata. By the way your car looks smashing in Red. Just one question regarding the color here. It looks too flashy and brighter than the usual color so have you used any coating to make it look so or its actually looking that way in sun light.

Re: Tata Nexon : Official Review

Tata are doing a good thing by introducing competent models but what flabbergasts me is why are they non chalant about their primary piece of a turn around - the Zest.

I have not driven Tiago/Tigor/ Nexon. If they live up to the legacy of Zest, they would be products to watch.

My point is, why is Zest not receiving any updates?.

Afterall, it's more capable in every sense than that later Tata offerings.

Tata has moved on from the Indica based platform to the latest AMP which would feature the next generation Nexon too. The Zest carries the Indica looks and baggage (not an issue for me - had the Indica, Marina and now Vista) which they would want to discard. The right replacement for the Zest would be based on the X451.

Re: Tata Nexon : Official Review

There is information available online that Tata is testing an AMT on the Nexon. Any leads yet if it will also be available on the Diesel Nexon? (Spotted camouflage versions had a ZMA badge, my uneducated guess is that it's petrol?

Re: Tata Nexon : Official Review

Hi guys, I'm planning to book the Nexon for a friend - and as he works abroad, I have to take care of all the nitty+gritties. We have finalised on the variant (XZ+) but yet to decide on colour.

I have a query regarding the insurance - which company has cashless tie-up with Tata? I want to buy it independently but only from a provider that has cashless facility at.

And what is maximum AMC that is on offer?

Search on https://www.policybazaar.com/. When you go to the page that shows search results (after you enter search criteria like make, model, etc), it shows whether cashless facility is offered or not (either on that page itself or when you drill down one more level)

A team-bhp thread on Jan 2018 dispatched numbers for all models isn't out as yet. Uncharacteristically delayed! I wonder why.

Re: Tata Nexon : Official Review

Guys as you already know i booked my Nexon XZ+ few days ago and many enthusiasts are waiting for the AMT of the same to get their hands on however the dealer i booked my car at told me no booking will take place till mid of this year which was surprising considering the fact near production model will be unveiled at the Auto Expo. I enquired about the same and they said the instructions have come directly from Tata motors India so can't help. Now is it a confirmed report i am not sure as yet. Can anybody confirm the same news from their dealers or was my dealer trying to avoid giving out details so soon.

Plus i would like to know which color looks better. White dual tone or Red dual tone. Initially i had selected Red dual tone but without having checked the car physically as it wasn't available at the dealer so made a guess only on the basis of pics, however i saw White dual tone and i liked it better. Not sure the color is the best so need suggestions and help here. What do my fellow BHPians think about the White dual tone. Is it worth buying or i should stick to Red dual tone.
