Re: Maruti Swift : Official Review

Dear Team,

I have a query regarding my Swift (2022, ZXI, AGS, petrol K12N engine).
Does anyone know what the part number is for the engine oil filter?

I ordered one from Boodmo, which says it is suitable for the Swift: the part number is F 002 H23 523-8F8 (Bosch).
However the box says: Use for WagonR / Zen Estilo / Alto (all K-Series Engine).

My query is whether this is all right for use on the Swift.

Thank you.

Re: Maruti Swift : Official Review

Hi,

I have a 2022 Swift ZXI+ AGS which has run just north of 11,000 km. I have been facing a slight jerkiness from the car during cold starts for the initial few meters but haven’t paid much attention to it as it resolves itself in under a minute and is absolutely fine after that. But today morning while taking the car out(shifted to D and used the crawl function), the car stuttered and stalled right as I moved out of my parking.

I have had similar but far more persistent issues before with a Hyundai AMT right from when it was new, but the Maruti AMT has been quite reliable over the past 2 years so this is a little concerning that an automatic car is stalling upon cold start. Anything I have to look out for in this case?

Have seen this happen with my car couple of times. When its too cold, I ensure to idle the car for sometime and then drive. That said the car has never stalled.

Re: Maruti Swift : Official Review

Guys can you confirm which color coolant is added to the car? My car seems to have green color coolant but strangely my authorized service centre bill states golden yellow in the bill back in 2022. Will be giving the car to a FNG for further services as I have supported and nourished the families of the MASS personnel for long now. Also when to change the water pump and a/c belt.

Just checked on Youtube videos golden yellow looks green in color so that clears my confusion.
