Do you have any idea about this (which color did you opt for)?
Hi Gaurav,
How did your booking experience go? Were you able to get the Teal Blue?
Down here in Kerala, got the same response. Anniversary edition is coming up only in White and no Teal Blue.

Also, whats the current discount for the Santro. OTR quoted for anniversary edition is 6.4

Please do take a look at the real blue colour in person. I personally don't like it on the Santro especially because it's a super dark colour and doesn't really look that great on a small car.

Hopefully the AMt should be trouble free. Closer to 8000 kms is what will tell us.
Hello Palio_2005, how many kms have you covered so far? Any niggles? I read about the 7k AMT issue and am concerned because I booked a Santro yesterday.

Hi. Car is hardly used. Done only 1600 kms since Aug. No niggles evident as of now.

Guys, I have a query about the first serice of my Santro which will complete 2 months on 26 December. However, I will not be in town and will only be back after 20th January. That is almost 1 month after the scheduled first service timeline:

1. Should I just get the service done now? If not, will Hyundai create an issue if I delay the service by almost a month?

2. People who have got the first service done, there are no additional costs right? I assume it will be INR 0 service?

If you want the 1st "free" service, you need to get it done before 2 months. That's what the guys at Advaith Hyundai told me. I'll be getting mine serviced this Friday.

Picture reads "OBD-I". Shouldn't it be "OBD-II"?.

Am I missing something?

Who is the actual source for this document? ARAI?

They seem to have created hybrid variants :
Santro 1.1 AMT Era Magna
Santro 1.1 AMT Era Sportz
Santro 1.1 AMT Era Asta

Our Santro Sportz AMT has clocked 8000 km and there have been no issues with the AMT unit.

It's most likely due to bad driving. Many use both the legs when driving an automatic and press both brake and accelerator at the same time in inclines which leads to the clutch slipping. My Santro AMT also no issues till now

Hello,

I am currently in the process of trying to choose between Santro AMT and Celerio X AMT and had a question for current Santro AMT owners - What kind of mileage are folks getting in the city traffic ?

Thanks!

Wifey gets around 13.2 kmpl in city traffic based on the MID. She has clocked around 6.5k in 8 months. The ride & build quality is really good compared to my bro's Celerio.

Do you mind summarizing any other observations between the two, please. I suppose Celerio is amt as well?

Spotted the new Santro in the guise of a Mumbai Black and Yellow cab(kaali peeli) for the first time since launch. I believe the Grand i10 Prime being discontinued earlier this month would have something to do with this, since the only other entry level option left in the Hyundai Fleet is the Xcent Prime.
