Please share the contact details with me. Sorry cant send you a DM as i cant see that option on me. I have been talking with Trident guys for the same trim.

Will offcourse be difficult to get delivery before Diwali now but i will try my luck. Thanks in advance.
You can reach Ashwin Kumar at +91 95134 08308. I was also told 2 months initially, but he was able to get a car allotted in a month's time.
The latest I know was a month's time for a SX Petrol manual for one my friend who booked with them on my reference.

Trident was vague in terms of asking full payment before they allot a car to the booking, which is wierd and un-ethical in my view.

Hope u get a new one as early as possible as this wait is not what we car enthusiasts like to njoy

Can you confirm if the default spare tyre was 17" one and if possible share a picture of the same? The brouchure still seem to suggest that spare is 16". I am interested in getting 17" spare for mine as well. My Diesel SX(O) came with 16" spare tyre.

Congrats on your new car. Happy Miles.

Thanks for the wishes. Yes it did came with a full size 17" steel wheel and that was also a surprise for me as I had plans to upgrade that to a full size in case it comes with a smaller 16" wheel.
Dont have a picture but will try to share it with you in a day or two.

Re: Hyundai Creta : Official Review

So not sure how many of you noticed but the Creta base model E now comes with black faux skid plates front and rear as opposed to the silver faux skid plates. A sign of cost cutting visible post price hike. Wonder what other changes are in store. Still annoys me to no end that the EX petrol costs 60k more but has nothing added to it to justify the tag. Atleast a rear camera to that infotainment sytem and a parcel tray should have been added. Together they don't even cost 5k.

Front, back and side skid plates are all black now. Yes, agree that they do look ugly. But then it should be a 1000 INR job for any painter to paint them silver. I won't be surprised if people bring the best out of their creativity and get it painted multicolored (chrome/ red)

Honestly, I believe this move doesn't affect the city target customers as most of them were anyways going for ABS plastic chrome covers for front and rear skid plates and side steps.
Also, IMO it's less of a cost cutting exercise and more of a move aimed at differentiating E and EX variants.

Re: Hyundai Creta : Official Review

Has anyone got delivery of the Diesel E model recently? This remains a very VFM variant and has not been subject to a price increase. I know there was a point in time when Hyundai projected long lead times (like 6 months) for this variant, has this changed? The fact that they did not do a price increase on this variant alone seems to indicate their intent to sell this variant in some volumes. That would then imply that they should be delivering some decent numbers.

The official waiting period is still 6 months for the said variant except for in the following cases:

1. Allocation of a booking cancelled vehicle, readily available with dealer
2. Purchasing accessories from dealer of good amount ( some prospective owners purchased accessories worth 1 lac from dealer )

Re: Hyundai Creta : Official Review

Does anyone have a way to contact Hyundai for their genuine accessories? Their website is not mentioning anything. The dealer is conveniently saying that the accessories are out of stock and is not ready to sell the same at a lower price. Essentially it's akin to a black market.

It's frustrating that Hyundai is selling cars around 18L and then there are dealers who are fleecing customers for 3-4K on these accessories.

Some time back, I had received a PM from Delhi based car Installer offering Hyundai Mobis accessories at 10% discount over MRP. Since I was not interested in them, I never bothered to ask the details for genuineness. IMO, you should be able to source the same accesories from authorised Hyundai Mobis store near you.

What sort of accessories are you looking for? Some basic accessories like mats, car covers etc are available on Boodmo.com. I have used them to purchase spare parts and they are pretty good as they sell genuine accessories.

Re: Hyundai Creta : Official Review

Honestly, I was just looking at mats and mudflaps. I was frustrated with the unethical practice. I informed the dealer as I managed to get some temporary mats from Amazon, however I requested them to get me mudflaps for the 300-400 INR as listed on the website. They refused even that saying that one has to buy the entire set from them (mats + mudflaps) for 5K.

It's just sad that brands allow dealers this high-handed attitude.

Thanks for the recommendation though. I'll look at it

I also wanted some advice on how to drive IVT downhill? Since there's no engine braking available and mechanically riding the brakes would not be recommended. So what's the best way to drive downhill?

Hyundai has updated the brochure for the Creta on their official website.

The earlier brochure was 8 pages. The new brochure is 12 pages and includes the base model - E with the 1.5 NA petrol, and some exterior colour options.

Re: Hyundai Creta : Official Review

Finally Hyundai has written with a * that the Turbo variants are available in white and black as well! Even some dealers didn't know about this and the online booking site doesn't have the Deep Forest colour till now whereas in the brochure it's clearly visible.

Congrats on your new car. Happy Miles.
Yes, can confirm same. I am getting my Creta SX today, and had gone to see the car yesterday at the showroom. Checked the spare, and voila 215/60/R17 JK

I think they have started giving the 17" spare post the price hike on 10th Oct. The ex showroom price of my Creta went up from Rs.14.94l to Rs.15.05l. From this 11k hike, they removed handling charges of Rs.3000 which was there earlier, and i think they have upgraded the spare. So not complaining
