From one blue to another.

Monday was a bitter-sweet day to see my 2017 Elantra 2.0L Petrol being driven away, what fun it was to drive that car around.



Took delivery of the next blue yesterday, a 330i MSports in Portimao Blue "Dark" and Mocha on the interiors. Just sharing some pictures from the delivery here, will take some nice pictures over the weekend.





Getting PPF done over the weekend. Need to figure out the wireless charging situation, has anyone been able to retrofit something or add something that fits nicely on the wireless charging tray? I was looking at the BimmerTech wireless charger but for some reason, after I enter my VIN it says that the product is not compatible. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Are you very insistent on wireless charging? Most folks stop using it pretty quickly as it heats up most phones + does not consistently deliver enough juice when using Maps or Android Auto/Apple CarPlay. I'm on Android but believe long term iPhone battery life is particularly affected by the heat generated.

Yea, I am very used to wireless chargers, have a couple of them spread out in the home, one on the office desk, it is just more convenient for me. BMW does sell one as an accessory but that's like a vertical stand.

Hey lovely review. Just a quick question. How are you feeling driving this car in our lovely Bangalore roads? I’m worried about the ground clearance driving in Bangalore.
Would love to hear your views.

Yeah so far I have not had too many problems with ground clearance. It is low, there is no getting away from that, but I have now taken the car all the way to Hassan, out of Bangalore to Kanakapura road and few other places without any issues.

You still have to approach a few road humps in a angled manner, but is that taking anything away from the driving experience or comfort, absolutely not!

I was contemplating getting a spacer to increase the suspension, but based on inputs from people on this forum, I refrained from it as it was gonna interfere with the ride quality.

Excellent pics, and looks like a good discount from the SA as well. I was also told the wireless charger is not available (due to semi conductor shortage) when I bought mine, but it does trickle charge, so really no point in using it. The fast charger ports work quite well.

What's the discount that he got? Any idea?
