They have used the iconic music of the old safari TVC towards the end of this video
That's a brilliantly made ad. The Persona variant looks smashing as well.

IF the Safari can actually do just what they showed in the Ad then I guess it does justice to the original Safari.

In a country where the sedan versions of hatchbacks and diesel variants of the same car were sold at 1-2L premium it's good to see the Safari being sold reasonably close to the Harrier's price point. Well done.

The last hurdle continues to be QC. When are they going to nail that?

While I mostly like what they have done with the "Adventure Persona" Variant, I can't help but feel that the dashboard has ended up looking a bit too drab with all the black elements, they should have left some chrome highlights. But maybe it's the pictures only and it might look better in the real world.
Great pricing nonetheless

Check this Safari Adventure TVC, and wait for the ending! This is an official one shared by Pratap Bose but not on YouTube yet. Has been shared by someone else.

Re: All-new Tata Safari launched at Rs. 14.69 lakh

Brilliant pricing. Totally justified considering the additions over Harrier. This should rest the topic & help everyone focus on other areas.

Yesterday saw a blue Safari(probably from a dealer) in my apartment in Kolkata. Didn't have any number on it, just a SAFARI decal in place of number plate. So mostly a display/test-drive car. The D pillar integration looks pretty good in flesh. Overall the car has lovely presence and the name SAFARI should help sell this in good numbers.

And that 'Reclaim your Life' ad is awesome. TATA sure does 2 things better than everyone else in our market:

1. Make safe cars
2. Make brilliant Ads

These commercials elevate the car to a whole new level, excellent job by the Marketing team!

With a lakh premium over the Harrier, TAMO has hit the sweet spot. I hope the siblings get the numbers that they deserve.

I just love the original BGM! As all said, masterstroke in bringing it into this advt!

Pricing is sorted - hope the quality also is.

Was going to ask you the same; I got in when it was low and bought even more when it went further lower.

Re: All-new Tata Safari launched at Rs. 14.69 lakh

Very good pricing indeed.

Spot on efforts to grab the fence sitters before the XUV onslaught. The Tata marketing team has worked wonders in dovetailing the gravitas afterthought in slowly morphing the narrative to finally suit the Safari nameplate. Heck. If this ad was launched first and there was no Harrier, most of us wouldn't have doubted that this is the naturally evolved Safari.

Is there any mention of GNCAP ratings that I missed? With the Nexon and Altroz harping on this USP, do we have the score for the Safari. Would be the true icing on the cake.

Tata, AWD is inevitable now. Please!

Brilliant, loved it. I think I can also see the iconic old Safari at 1:50 or maybe I am dreaming.

I have been debating whether or not to go for the Safari and this ad is just pulling me off the fence.

Re: 2021 Tata Safari Review

Killer pricing from Tata and ~1 lakh premium over Harrier with all the useful kit makes it all the more desirable.
Adventure Persona edition is simply brute and looks smashing. Seems like the colour is inspired from the Land Rover Discovery Sport PHEV. In some shots it's quite difficult to distinguish between both. Here are some pics of the bigger sibling.

Re: All-new Tata Safari launched at Rs. 14.69 lakh

The Safari ad will tug strings. Suddenly it is more than just a Harrier+ and more like an LR Disco lite. All at a sweet price.

Footfalls at TaMo dealerships should rise, which in turn is good news for baby bro Harrier and the rest of the Tata fleet.

Now how about that Tata Sierra..?

IIRC Pre-facelift Discovery Sport also had and latest one still has this colour including in India. It is called Byron Blue.

Re: 2021 Tata Safari Review

The name and the ads have suddenly made it aspirational. Especially for the 90s kids. The music in that ad alone will convert so many fence sitters. Amazing how things can change just with a name and some brilliant ads. Gravitas did not stand a chance against the next gen XUV500. But Safari does and it may win the battle too. For the simple reason that Mahindra still has not mastered the art of graceful designs.
