Win win for everyone I think! Congratulations to both of you, and wish you both many kilometres of happy motoring.

Couldn't get a colour choice as only Sunset Orange was available. Finally things fell into place with good friend and BHPian Viddy picking up my 328i. Today went to the dealership and checked out the two cars that has reached Bangalore. Orange looks great in flesh and going ahead with it. Looking forward to a having a great time with another turbo petrol. Thanks a lot to Karan561, AMG Power, DrAD, Diesel_Convert, Zebo.
Heartiest Congratulations @robimahanta. The M340i is an absolutely hot car and looked the hottest in Orange. As I mentioned in another thread, if there ever was a perfect car for everyday driving as well as having a lot of high performance fun, this is it!

I had my chance to visit the dealership with @robimahanta and check out his orange car in person. It looks absolutely stunning!

Ideally he is the one who should be posting the photos, but I was so excited to see that car that I could not resist sharing at least one photo here:

Initially, we were a bit apprehensive about how the Sunset Orange looks and whether it is a bit too loud. However, seeing the car in person, I can say that the color looks absolutely fantastic. It looks a lot more classier in person than in the pictures. It is a lovely color that matches the character of M340i.

And of course, Congratulations to Viddy for picking up the 328i. I know that 328i very well and it is an absolutely great car. That car was part of our friends circle and I have fond memories of following that car on many drives and photographing that car in our drives. The Style 397 wheels on that car are still my most favorite wheels in the whole world, and if I could dare to say it, those wheels look even better than any wheels on the M340i. That is one gem of a car and I am so envious of Viddy for having got his hands on that car :-) It is a classic for sure! Wish him many happy miles with this car!

Cannot wait to get behind the wheel of this beast. It was good fun checking out the car in the dealership yard with Rsudarsanan and Dr.Ad. Sharing some mobile images. Will do a proper photoshoot soon.

Huge Congrats on the new M340i! The color almost looks like a tinted copper to me. Stunning indeed!

Congrats, I think you must be one of the first owners of the 340i in the whole of India. That shade is classy and I would've chosen the same one if I had the money. Can't wait to spot your car on the roads of Pune to hear that sweet exhaust note!

Re: BMW M340i xDrive Review

Can anyone suggest which cars are closest to M340i, to look out for in the Used car markets under 30 Lacs?

The only car that comes to mind in and around that price range is the BMW 530d. Firstly, it will be difficult to find one. There are plenty of 520d cars in the used car market.

IMHO, a well maintained 530d 2017 model should be in the range of INR 32 - 33L.

Re: BMW M340i xDrive Review

It is here !Today morning I have taken delivery of my beautiful baby M ! Have only driven from the showroom till home and short spin for the family near our home. But BOY is it awesome !

The ride is stiff as expected but it still does well at city speeds and does not feel jarring at all. Very liveable. I will drop Tyre pressure from 37 to 32 and that should help immensely! But the engine , handling and general feel of the car is amazing !

Will post my ownership review soon ! Thank you everyone here for the wishes and love !

Cheers!
Madhur.

Madhur.
In February I got my Mediterranean Blue metallic 330i here in Dubai. The color looks very similar. I am really enjoying my 330i and the 80kms up and down drive to work has really become enjoyable these days. If the 330i is so much fun, I can imagine your excitement for the M340i. All the best and drive safe.

Apologies for the dark images but this is close to how the colour looks in person. I was as excited as a child and after a long while too !
Congratulations dieselite. The car is a real looker in that colour. Please keep us updated when you get your hands on her. Enjoy your car.

Heartiest congratulations on your prized possesion ! I think it's time to change your userhandle "Dieselite" to "Petrolite" !

One suggestion...let the engine run in properly, then unleash its horses.

I have honestly been a die hard diesel fan till 2015 but ever since the advent of turbo petrol engines I have been literally converted to Petrol power !

Easier said than done brother. The running in period is the challenge
