Many congratulations and wishing you hundreds of thousands of happy & safe km on the Fortuner. In a sea of white and black Fortuners, yours comes as a breath of fresh air Looks lovely in this shade. Please share some more pictures under better lighting conditions.

Edit: What was the waiting period?

Congratulations. That is a rare color. It looks great. Getting hold of it in 1.5 months for such a color is a big achievement. What interior color did you choose?

Did you receive a full user manual with the car? Mine is an October 2021 make and I only received a user guide, no full user manual. My dealer says it does not come with a manual anymore and only a simple user guide is provided.

If they have credited TBHP and also given a link to the original post of yours, then it is considered fair play these days. As it is copyright violation is taken very lightly in online world unless strong monetary value is attached.

In social media it happens all the time. Most of us receive 100s of un-credited images everyday. BTW, one of the pic I clicked is going around the internet for a long time. If you don't want the image used without permission, don't share it anywhere.

Thanks Samurai, I agree it is not considered a big deal, especially in India. I was only trying to find what is BHP's view on similar matters.

I am only happy to see my post getting more popular

That is correct. Toyota is not providing hard copy of owner's manual with Fortuner any more. The same is now available as a soft copy via "Toyota Connect" app or here - https://www.toyotabharat.com/q-service/

Fortuner converted into Legender and painted with custom Bronze Gold paint.

Re: 2021 Toyota Fortuner Legender & Facelift Review

1000 km completed (1162) and gave for first service. Nothing to mention usual check up and cleaning done and retuned the vehicle in an hour. Forgot to ask them about DPF fluid level? How to check the tank level?

Vehicle has given around 10.5 KM/L milage so far with a mix of heavy traffic roads, highways and ghat rides.

There is no way to check current levels. You will get a warning when you have enough AdBlue to travel for about 2500KM. You can always ask service center to top up, but then you will be asked to pay for minimum 5Ltrs most of the times.

Re: 2021 Toyota Fortuner Legender & Facelift Review

Took the Fortuner to a drive in beach to test 4x4 modes, but there was no wheel spin in any of the places so couldn't test. Then had to go to a place where my Ertiga was royally stuck last time. Was skeptical to get the Fortuner to the spot as the trails were narrow and bushy. Finally decided to take Fortuner and man 4x4 worked like a charm. Tested 4x4 high and without any issues the car came up. Couldn't take much of pics as i was alone.

Re: 2021 Toyota Fortuner Legender & Facelift Review

Fortuner price hiked by over a Lac. Hike on OTR should be 1.5L+. Regular Fortuner now should be breaching 50L mark and Legender will be breaching 55L mark in Karnataka.

Re: 2021 Toyota Fortuner Legender & Facelift Review

That is a steep increase. Wonder whether these prices are sustainable.Jeep has enough window to over-price Meridian/Commander and still undercut Fortuner now.

I think the real competition will happen when the next gen Scorpio launches. It will make Fortuner look terribly outdated with half its price, full 4x4 hardware and all the features under the sun.

Re: 2021 Toyota Fortuner Legender & Facelift Review

The hike is insane, with Ford exit Toyota has got more room to hike prices.
But still unsure whether such hike will affect the prospective owners who are willing to shell out such high amounts for a car which is reliable, when compared to germans available in this price range.
