That is good to hear, a friend of mine has booked the AWD already, it must be an informal booking then through the dealer. He is a VAG fan, came back from the test drive and said it's #$&@ Awesome. That coming from him is good enough.

Anyone experiencing the booking website crawling/not responding.

I had the AX7 L AWD AT added to the cart but not able to recover it anymore and it keeps spinning for last 10 minutes

Hehe same here. I've been using VAG cars ever since I started driving, and the driving dynamics of the 7OO are certainly in their league.

As I know dealers has an option to place a bulb booking. They will have a different portal to place bookings.
So all booking information they feed into their system and after 10Am they will release them.

I am able to go to the cart but unable to continue from there. Website so very unresponsive.

It throws some error when i try to proceed further.

This was not completely unexpected, but still held some hope that they would be better prepared. I give up, will go to a dealer and book

This would be unfair for many as a couple of dealers recommended me to book online, now if the dealer bookings are prioritized then it would be very unfortunate for some of us if I am not wrong, seems like tech Mahindra guys need to have some motivation

BTW, edit your AWD increment to +2. Intent is to find out the total number of AWD bookings from that number.

You can make it 3. I also moved from AX7 L to AX7L AWD. Hopefully the dealer will put the booking in time.

It looks like a denial of service or other type of attack. The web-site may be denying requests as it got a high volume of fake automated requests trying to crash it.

This can happen for two reasons - the trigger set for number of simultaneous requests received before the site goes into DoS protection mode may be too low, i.e., they get far more hits than anticipated, or, they are detecting hits from bots or fake IP addresses trying attempting a DoS attack. Being a high profile launch for a high profile product from a iconic Indian Company, I would not be surprised if there are forces out there who want to disrupt it.
