There was some confusion coz M&M said they were going to call owners based on the sequence of when they got the delivery. If it's just software then technically they can wind up everyone in a week's time.

Apple carplay updates are being rolling out in Bengaluru service centers as well. I am at PPS Kalyan Nagar service center and my car is being updated, it will take more than 2 hours. You can call the service center and take an appointment for he same.

Will share new features and details once done.

You'll get a very fair warning when DEF runs low.... Chill and enjoy the car. Mahindra is one of the largest OEMs in India with last mile connectivity by the Indian border where even Maruti fails.

Apple Carplay update has been completed successfully and it took around 1.45 hrs for the update.
Attaching few screenshots of the interface, was not able to use Google maps on the MID.
Audio quality seemed better on carplay compared to bluetooth. Not sure if its just hallucination.
Carplay interface felt little laggy, could be because of first time setup.

No Apple CarPlay in Mumbai yet. Spoke to NBS Sewri and they said it will be ready for installation in customer cars in a day or two. Anyway what’s another couple of days.

I have left my car at the dealer for Apple CarPlay installation. The service engineer said that my vehicle is in the list of recall for silver box flashing and some connector replacement.

It's not mine, it's a pic taken from a user on a FB group. I will most likely get the update tomorrow.

However I do know that CarPlay 2nd screen support needs to be added by the developer. In this case only Apple Maps has added support for it. Google hasn't, so CarPlay will show you that message in the instrument console for Google Maps.

Quick help..

Anyone here who recently took delivery of XUV700 from NBS, Andheri- Mumbai. Posting this query here as the deliveries of Scorpio N are yet to start - I have mine scheduled in the next few weeks. My SA is mentioning below and need feedback from anyone who dealt with NBS recently.

VIN - When did you get the same? My SA is telling me that they will communicate the VIN number only after invoicing the vehicle to me. Did anyone face this scenario with NBS? My SA was pushing me for down payment, which I refused to do unless I get the VIN and a chance to do PDI.
PDI - I read couple of posts here that they are not allowing PDIs. Is that correct? If yes, is there any work around found for this - like doing it in showroom? In general, I found NBS team tough to deal with on PDIs and they get agitated when we mention TeamBhp.
Insurance - The quotes are on the higher side (no surprises here). But, was there any push back when the customer wanted to buy insurance on his own?

Yesterday I got the Apple Car Play update on XUV 7OO AX5 from Harbir Automobiles in Chandigarh. They took a lot of time as they had a single USB drive. There are no directions or information being shared on the MID for Apple Maps as well as Google Maps. I discussed this with the cotek and he told me that it might get enabled in the next update as they had shown the same in their training session. The initial impression of car play is good as it appears stable compared to android auto. I am sharing the video link for the same.
