Planning to install dashcam, mats in next couple of days.
This looks beautiful ! Can you please post some more pics from the side/back ?

Also, are you planning to cover the entire car in matt or only some portions of it? Matt finish may look good but typically is hard to maintain

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Hello diesel owners, has any of you tried full synthetic engine oil apart from the one offered in service centers, Maximile or something? Is there any benefit of opting full synthetic oil like Shell?

Yes, booking was sorted after multiple follow ups. However, new problem started now.

They called me on 3rd Oct evening that car is allotted. Went to showroom to check about PDI.

Found this:
- Allotted FWD instead of AWD that itself is in transit. They wanted me to pay.
- They have no idea now when my vehicle will be coming.

So all in all big disappointment.

Side note: Any recommendation for SA in Jaipur for XUV 700.

Hearty congratulations on getting your black steed. I have seen some videos of matte PPF on black XUV700 and it looks good. I would suggest you take a look at satin finish PPF also as satin finish gives some shine.

I have Napoli black AX7L booking done via dealer. The status on booking site has not changed for past 3 weeks. The booking status still shows booked.

Is yours AX7L automatic 7-seater?
How many days did it take from booking to delivery for you?
Can you share details on the mats that you going to purchase?

Oops. did you try connecting with Mahindra helpline? They may be of help?
I am at Mumbai. Even my dealership experience is nothing much to talk about. Seems success has gone into their heads. Too many bookings as I feel is making them make such goof ups across dealers ( with you, me and may be many more)

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Hi Everyone,
I purchased an XUV700 in July 2024. It’s a great car, but there are certain issues that I believe can be resolved through software updates. It’s been more than two years since the car was released, yet these issues remain unaddressed
  • AC Temperature Display: When the AC is set to AUTO, the temperature change pop-up does not appear while using Apple CarPlay or Google Auto. However, if you turn off the AC and then turn it on again without using the AUTO function, the temperature change pop-up becomes visible.
  • Gear Display: While driving with the automatic transmission, the gear number is not displayed.
  • Drive Modes Activation: Activating car drive modes requires touch input. This should be simplified to a single button press.
  • Driving Mode Retention: The selected driving mode does not persist after restarting the car post-locking. This diminishes the utility of the Custom mode and profile options

Query on Floor Lamination for XUV 700

Dear Friends,

Should I get Floor lamination done for my new XUV 700? Is that beneficial. Wanted feedback from those who would have done it?

Follow on Question. If yes, then better to have it done by Showroom before delivery?

Thanks in Advance.

I have done this on Marazzo and it does protect the carpet plus it's super easy to clean. I recommend getting it done esp if you have some x amount to spend on accessories as a part of the deal. I got it done from thr showroom prior to taking delivery.

Congratulations on your new ride!!
The main advantage floor lamination is the easiness in removing dirt from floor, especially if there are kids or the car is used in muddy and soil areas. Another advantage would be water resistance to a limit. If you are not planning for sound dampening the floor, the floor lamination can help reduce sound a little bit.

However, make sure that if you intend to use floor mats over the lamination, the lock tabs on driver side floor is exposed.
Also, make sure they cover under seats. Showroom guys might not remove seats to put lamination, and might not be able to do it underneath 3rd row seats completely, due to narrow access.
I had it done by showroom guys before delivery, for around 5k+ one and half years ago.

My XUV700 AX7 L DAT AWD is running 10.35.21. If that's not your current version, it might get delivered via OTA. PFA

Thanks for sharing the finer points to be taken care of while getting floor lamination done.

Now the dealer is quoting 9k for floor lamination. Seems a steep hike since you got it done

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Folks, finally managed to do PDI of my White AX7L D AT AWD today . Car came in from factory yesterday at the yard, its manufactured in last week of Sept. Everything was in order without any major concern. Good thing was that I started the car and vibrations inside the cabin were very muted and much lesser than the test drive cars I had driven earlier. Happy about that.

I was planning on swapping the tires to Michelin if they were MRF or Bridgestone, but this one came shod with Good Year Efficient Grip Performance. I dont know much about these but online reviews seem decent and esp calling out low noise which was important criteria for me. Even the tires have branding of low noise. Anyone has any feedback or review about these ? Tread pattern seems very michelin like.

On a separate note seems like a big chunk of cars have come and dealer's yard didnt have enough space and they are renting parking lots etc. Good time to try and get one before the 2lac disc goes away before Oct end.

Yes. This is a AT 7-seater.

Since I got this as lease from company it took a lot longer. 3 months actually.
I have installed the autodec 7D mat, aftermarket. This covers the entire floor which is cool since the mahindra one did not actually.

As part of accessories, I got the sidestep and rear bumper only since I thought it will be sturdier than after market ones.
