If mahindra had implemented this correctly they would start the engine when they hit a time limit or 12V IBS sensor detects low voltage/SOC. I haven't seen this happening on my XUV. The ESS system is very bad compared to other manufacturers.

I am also in for replacement of my 3 year old battery, can you please let me know the model number of the Exide 80 AH battery and if it fitted well in the space. Thanks

Hey, the model number of the Exide 80Ah battery is - EY105D31L. I've encountered the BSOD's very rarely now and Alexa works 9/10 times. I used to not use Alexa earlier, but now it's become integral thanks to the better system stability. I also re-connected Mahindra skill to my Alexa and I can now start the car, check the fuel level, tyre pressure, etc. which I was not able to do earlier. I did not think the battery would play such a huge role but according to ChatGPT, modern always connected car systems require a battery that can provide a stable load even when the car is off, which, I'm assuming the erstwhile 65Ah Amaron battery from the factory was unable to do.

Its very well calibrated in Creta/Seltos. If ACC is on, engine will not switch off if the temperature is above set temp. Otherwise also, with AC on, engine will switch on generally quickly. Lots of other triggers, e.g. increasing blower speed will switch on the engine immediately.

For information of all Forum Members,

The latest software version for the AX7L (Both petrol & diesel) was released a few weeks back. It is 10.43.81 and has to be updated at the service centre.

Hope you get yours updated soon. Happy driving folks.

Thank you for the heads up, will have the software updated at the 60,000 km service which is coming up soon. How's the system stability?

Just got it updated yesterday so yet to decipher how much of an improvement it is! One new feature I see is the addition of an option to call customer care directly from the car infotainment menu - don't remember seeing it earlier.

For five days, from Monday to Friday, the vehicle was at PPS service centers in Sarjapur and Kanakapura, yet they couldn't even reproduce the issues. Since April, the vehicle has spent around 14 days in service centers. The week before, I had encountered the issue three times and had shared videos with the service manager.

They conducted two 30 km test drives to "test the ADAS issue" despite my repeated explanations that the issue occurs only when the vehicle is in standby mode, and that there is no issue with ADAS. In addition to that, they drove approximately 70 km between service stations because they had to take the vehicle to the Kanakapura service station—the CoTek at Sarjapur Road is on leave. They just cannot systematically diagnose an issue; they conducted the second 30 km test drive, despite my assertive clarification after the first one that the issue has never occurred while the car is running, except when it is starting.

I had shared information about the battery rating with the ASC, but I did not get the impression that they would use it effectively.

I also asked them whether they know if the RAM has increased between first batch and later batches but they did not have a good answer. I asked this because I see a lot of LowMemoryKiller activity in the logs. Pasting the number of times each processes were killed in a period of two days at the end - not sure how related the symptoms are but seems to explain why things like Carplay sometimes arbitrarily exits and starts again.

I was planning to email the contacts in Mahindra I had gotten from Team BHP during an earlier issue with the canisters, but the service manager requested me not to. However, if they do not provide a proper plan this time, I am considering escalating the matter. Now, they say they need another week!

Low Memory Kills I could notice in the kernel.log. The killed process names are actually truncated in the log too. I am going to spend some good time analyzing the logs hoping I can find a good clue.

Hi,

Could you please let me know where did you get screen gaurd from?
Amazon or procured it locally?
I am on the look for one.

Regards.

I’ve used screen protectors from both Amazon and the service centre, and I prefer the Amazon one, as the service centre’s version has a matte finish that makes the display look blurry.

Thanks @rpmmachine for a quick response!

Was the packaging by the seller safe enough?
And, was there a cut-out for the AdrenoX logo in the one you purchased?

I am considering one called "Gear Gaurd" because this one has the most amount of reviews. Please let me know if this was the one you had purchased or would you suggest anything better?

I have the Gear Guard one on my XUV (https://www.amazon.in/dp/B09KY9ZRS4?...sin_title&th=1)

Had procured it when I bought my vehicle in mid-Jan and was installed by the shop that did my Ceramic coating.

Didnt opt for the M&M scruff plates, instead got this tape.
https://www.amazon.in/dp/B08VNSR2NC?...fed_asin_title

6 Months on, both are holding well

I bought mine from Amazon and it had the cut out for the Adrenox Logo. Pretty decent quality & touch response. Installed it myself with a little help as it is long!

Hello there! Guess I stumbled upon your post too late! Did you find the projector lamps?

Service centre/ Mahindra version is good in the sense that it gets minimum glare in bright sunny conditions but yes it surely knocks off few lumen of display brightness.

I have maxed out display brightness in both day and night conditions and use the matte version.
