Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Just came across this video. Looks like a Leaked video from some presentation slides or Internal Discussion of Prices.

Advice: The video is taken very Fast, so will have to watch with either 0.25x or 0.5x.

As per the video, the ExShowroom of MT AX5 (7 seater) diesel is costing around 16.69 and AT AX5 (7 seater) diesel is 17.99, which might be true as the same was provided in an earlier post by @RavenAvi:

"AX5 Petrol 5 Seater: 15,00,000
AX5 Petrol 7 Seater: 15,70,000 (add 70,000 to above)
AX5 Diesel 7 Seater: 16,70,000 (add 1,00,000 to above)
AX5 Diesel 7 Seater AT: 18,00,000 (add 1,30,000 to above)"

An Ex Showroom Price of AX5 Diesel 7 Seater AT: 18,00,000 in Bangalore means:

Registration: 3,40,900
Insurance: 80,00,00 (This one will be tough as Dealers will try to push their insurance)
Other Charges: 20,000 odd (TCS, Hypo, FastTag etc.)
Total On Road (without Extended Warranty and Dealer Provided accessories): Around 22,41,000.

An Ex Showroom Price of AX5 Diesel 7 Seater MT: 16,70,000 in Bangalore means:

Registration: 3,18,000 (odd)
Insurance: 70,00,00 odd (This one will be tough as Dealers will try to push their insurance)
Other Charges: 20,000 odd (TCS, Hypo, FastTag etc.)
Total On Road (without Extended Warranty and Dealer Provided accessories): Around 20,80,000.

This looks to be true. Had gone for the rear camera installation of my Thar. Majority of the staff had gone to Pune for XUV 7OO training which typically happens before the sales process is about to begin

I too heard from an informal source that a dealership in Mumbai had also mentioned the same date. Is there any chance that the showrooms receive the test drive units before this date ?

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

The leaked video shows 2 AWD variants with a price difference of 30k (ex-showroom) and 1.1lakh (on road).

Doesn't this contradict with the fact that AWD was supposed to come only on AX7 variant and that too with Diesel AT?

Well you are in luck there It sure looks like it will be available in Petrol if the leaked video is genuine.

The top portion of the video was chopped off so I tried to complete it by making sense of the price differences.

Attaching a grab from the same video. It looks to give the price with the Option Pack!

Now I am beginning not to trust this. According to this video, an AWD is offered in AX5 and AX7, in 5 seater and 7 seater, petrol and diesel! Difference between AX7 Option pack diesel and petrol is 2 lakhs. This looks very unlikely.

So many variants may lead to booking chaos at dealer end. One tick missing and you have a different model altogether. Although this spread gives Mahindra a huge price range to play with.

Sharing screenshots.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

The YouTuber who has posted this video has almost 700K subscribers! And in one of his comments confirmed that these prices are confirmed as per him. But then my next question would be how would the “T” and “L” (AX7T, AX7L) fit in all of this?
