Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Fellow Bhp’ians

I had Received a delivery date of 25 November for my XUV 700 L D AT AWD. It is almost 2 months late now and no one at Mahindra customer care nor the dealership has a slightest clue about the car. It has been an utterly disappointing experience with Mahindra as a first time buyer from their brand. I feel as if I have been begging to pay 28 lakhs OTR. This is now any car buyer was ever treated even if one buys the most affordable cars on the market. They are not replying to my tweets or emails anymore.

6. XUVs produced from 5th January onwards have updated software for the infotainment system which will result in better clarity and reduced lag in the 360° camera feed.
Does this mean that a software update for delivered vehicles will be available soon at service center?

This was the issue on the XUV5OO too in its early days in 2G avatar. We used to blame Nippon for that - now even Blackberry QNX, Visteon is in the same zone! I wonder if it's the vendors or the M&M's team itself who messes up things every time!

A simple thing to retain last set volume or last set source - an engineering graduate would make these two parameters values persistent in his/ her code and make it work.

At this rate, there will be another lengthy niggles thread on XUV7OO it seems!

Yes. I installed the app on my iPhone. Haven’t checked it out in Android yet. It’s puzzling why they have two different layouts in 2 OS’.

What’s the mileage as per your car’s fuel info?

I am getting around 6.5 to 7.5 in city and around 9.5 in suburbs and city + highway rides. Currently, I do not track it diligently from the MID; a UI like on iOS would be really great. Below is what it shows on Android.

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

A related question. Anyone in Bangalore recently registered XUV? I was told that I have to download parivahan app to get rc details. No rc card due to chip shortage. Registered my vehicle last week and what I got now is tax receipt and an sms with vehicle number.

Are they not even giving paper rc or RC book?

They only issue smart card now a days. It takes about 40-60 days to get RC smart card under normal circumstances. If any card shortage then waiting can go longer. I received my card in 40 days by registered post (registered Creta in oct-2021 @ KA03).

Meanwhile, you can check details on Digilocker, Parivahan app or vahan website by registering with your mobile number. https://vahan.nic.in/nrservices/face...zenlogin.xhtml

There are some third party apps on playstore such as RTO which can also show RC details.

I have the app on iPhone but don't get to see the same view you are seeing. Can you help with the screenshots of where you see it?

Re: Mahindra XUV700 Review

Have read reports on Facebook groups stating that the Android Auto update is now available, and that Apple CarPlay is expected at the end of the month. Finally?!

Looking forward to seeing how it's implemented, hoping there is a full screen option.

For some weird reason, my app does not show the Trip summary at all in the drop down and having checked the App Store see no updates available. Not sure what can make it be different in the same iOS platform.

They stopped issuing smart cards in November. I got a paper card in around 20 days from KA03. There's another thread in TeamBHP about it.

My delivery date is still between 2nd mar and 17th mar. Although the SA says it should be around 7th feb as mentioned in the mail by Mahindra. I booked a AX7 L D AT AWD

Highly unlikely you will get by Feb 7th. Myself and few others here with a delivery date of end-Dec/Early-Jan are still waiting for our AWD deliveries. . Hope Mahindra does something soon to address this set of buyers, who are patiently waiting for their Flagship variant
