If this is indeed a Gurkha, Force Motors did a huge blunder by changing the front looks IMHO.

The front is indeed a big letdown. I hope there is somebody out there making transformation kits to revert to the more appealing front-end style much like the Kits to convert Mahindra Roxor to a Jeep, Thar to Jeep JL etc.
Django - My Island Gurkha claimed his birthright by going off roading on the beach. The Gurkha proved its mettle in all terrains I threw at it and wound up a fun day at the beach.

Some details about customised bags and mileage test in this video. Will share details about all the modifications along with costs shortly.
Got customised Jerry can holder just yesterday after trying few failed combinations, which is just 3-( inches out the vehicle (side mirrors are about 6 inches out).

I spot couple of latest Gurkhas regularly in my city but was surprised to see many unregistered Gurkhas few weeks back. Looks like those belong to this KP order. Latest Thar looks puny in front of Gurkha.

This explains why I was spotting so many Gurkhas during my daily commute from Mangalore to Kasargod. I thought maybe Manuuj's impeccable thread forced buyers to buy more Force' Gurkhas :Cheering: :p.

Saw this posted on Facebook, Rupam is happy to share this here on the forum. I think this is a wonderful initiative by FM to reach out to customers, while their team is reaching out to almost everyone, its really heartening to see the Sales Head Mr. Sankar too involved and meeting them personally.
It shows a lot of conviction in the actions taken and of course will boost customer confidence - especially after all the issues reported.

Tenmala PS used to have an old gen Thar CRDe 4x4. Looks like they got a worthy upgrade.
I was driving solo from Kochi to Kollam via NH66 (which if you are driving south after Cherthala is an absolute nightmare to drive) and was in for a pleasant surprise. I must have seen atleast 70 to 80 or maybe more brand new Force Gurkhas all going to Kerala Police! The thing with the lights and everything you know the cops have arrived. That really was a proper upgrade! Glad to see the Gurkha with the Police force :thumbs up

I saw a few of these on the MC road yesterday. They were moving towards Ettumanoor and I was driving towards Kottayam from Cochin.

2. Steelies - Don't FM insist on getting the car with alloys as it's ARAI tested with alloys and not steelies? Maybe the perks of being a Govt body :) Will be better suited on rough terrain anyway. :thumbs up
