Same question - haven't been able to see a Kodiaq sportline even after 3 months. Wondering how I could see one.. have a booking with no delivery date set and I am a bit confused between race blue and the new steel grey colours + haven't seen a sportline yet. So really wondering about the interior too. Folks, who saw or got a sportline. How do you compare these colours and how does the dark and sport themed interior look? Welcome pics, if any you have

Skoda India may open bookings for the second batch of Kodiaq in the next couple of months.

Delivering booked cars should be their priority not openings more bookings and making more people wait longer.

Hi,

I expect to take delivery of my Kodiaq over the next couple of days.

A quick question for Team BHP'ians who have taken delivery of their 2022 Kodiaq.

Have you taken the Kodiaq accessories package ?

If not then which floor mats have you bought ? Any other accessories that you may have bought - Dash cam, mud flaps etc

Cheers,
Sid

Yes, I took the accessories package. The floor mats are all-weather and pretty nice. But frankly speaking other than the floor mats, mud flaps and body cover the rest of the things are avoidable. Check with your dealer if they are ready to sell the items individually.

Cancelled my Kodiaq booking and went ahead with the X1. We are due to replace 2 cars so will be buying a bigger one later on. Would have loved the Kodiaq, but the SA was shifting the delivery date every month. Finally when I cancelled he told me it is July/August, which honestly left a bad taste since I had booked on January 12th (2 days post launch) and it just did not sight right with me. Had gotten dates ranging from February, March, April/May to July/August for deliveries !

Had checked out the Tiguan as well, but they had one only car, not even in the showroom (test drive) which was in a really poor condition. Comparatively they had 3-4 Taiguans inside the showroom. Must say the space in the Tiguan is amazing as well.

Other than the floor mats and car cover, other items are pretty ordinary. Please try and buy them separately if you can.

To all the proud 2022 Kodiaq owners:

How much did the insurance cost? What are the add-on packages you availed?

Many thanks in advance

Insurance should be 70k but dealers with their margins are asking for 2.2 lacs on the Kodiaq.

Earlier on vento, I had used kagu mats and those were really good compared to stock ones. Any such experience on Kodiaq by anyone?. Any good options seen in outside market so far?

I did not take it from the dealer, for the L&K it costed me 85k. It includes almost all the possible covers including engine cover, rti, key, personal belongings, depreciation benefit etc.

Thanks TurbochargedT. I have tried and have got it down to One lakh including GST. At 85k, you seem to have got a great deal. Who was the insurer? I will also check again and whether location makes any difference (particularly in the context of RTI cover).

Tata AIG. Try to get quotes from multiple vendors. But don't go for all these new digital insurance companies.

Finally.. after around 5 months, got a confirmation that my allocation is through and I should get it by the end of this month.. Kodiaq it is.. race blue, sportline. Buying one without seeing the colour or test drive. Wow (driven tiguan all space) clap:

Do you have the full list of items that are part of the essential kit? Any feedback from folks who took it? Is it worth it?
