So went ahead and okayed the blue colour with SA. He said the car is being shipped today and would share VIN by evening or latest by tomorrow morning.

Don’t want to risk deletion or change of features, would rather much compromise on the colour - and blue is a looker anyway, only just that yellow would have been a rarity on the roads!

Haven't been able to see it in person or do a PDI, they say the car is in their Storage Yard and they dont allow people there. Was shared a couple of pics. But had seen one sometime back and I'm quite ok with it especially since it contrasts pretty well with the blacked out bits. Though my family is still not comfortable with my decision of changing from Red to White

May be we can exchange our cars..

Initially i was skeptical about red. But now, the more i see it, the more i like it. Love the red inserts in the interior.

I have recurring question, what color are the interior inserts in the white car? Is it also white or is it Red for all GT?

Except Red GT, all other colors get a silver insert. Would have to see it once to be 100% sure though.

Virtus GT in white does come with silver inserts unlike the red.

Re: Volkswagen Virtus Review

Got delivery of our Virtus highline M/T on friday in Mumbai. Some 150 cars were delivered that day at Jio drive.
This in size is a level up to the Vento in terms of space. A few similarities between the vento that i own and this. Will share more soon.

Re: Volkswagen Virtus Review

This is the rotary knobs in place of the touch panel for the HVAC controls. Originally the highline comes with the touch panel. I prefer these as it is more user friendly and your arm can memorise the exact location without lifting an eye of the road. By the way, the link to the YouTube video did help in negotiating a good 15k off the original price. The AC cooled extremely well in the scorching Mumbai heat.

Re: Volkswagen Virtus Review

I was able to spot four VW cars, 3 Virtus and 1 Taigun. All left hand drive. This was around mid night 3:00 AM near Sangamner Toll Plaza. Upon having a word with the drivers they said these cars are doing testing from the VW Chakan plant to Nashik and back again to plant in a single Go.
Also on closely inspecting the interiors, I could see the 10 inch infotainment screen has been retained for the export models as well. The special mention are the alloys here on the silver colour Virtus, they look super sporty in flesh. I believe this design is not offered in Indian market yet.
Excuse me for the average picture quality, there was not much light around.

From that 120kmph onwards (where they stopped) 1.5 will keep pulling much faster than 1.2 and 1 TSI. The 1.5 TSI has a clear advantage at triple digit speeds.

Why would you drag on D? You should use the manual mode.

Also drag on a brand new Virtus is really not a good idea!
