Any news on whether adjustable headrests, load limiters and pretensioners for seatbelts being part of the updates ?

Re: Citroen C3 Review

Citroen C3 Aug 2024 brochure is available on the website.

Shine variant gets optional turbo AT, LED headlights, auto AC, auto-folding mirrors, 7-inch MID, 6 airbags, isofix, tpms among other improvements.

Feel has been bumped up to Feel (O).

Seems like pricing is not revealed yet!

If this brochure is correct, there will be a C3 automatic variant in the top-end guise this time. They should have highlighted that during the Basalt launch. This will be the most underrated launch as per me. Waiting for the prices to go out. I'm Looking to replace my Baleno manual which will complete 9 years in November with an automatic this time. And this perfectly fits the bill.

Re: Citroen C3 Review

If Citroen had introduced all these features, variants, and engine-transmission combinations at the initial launch, they might have been in a stronger position today. Hopefully, the Basalt will boost sales and improve Citroen's reputation in India.

I believe the Citroen C3 Shine Turbo AT will be priced under ₹10 lakh. Citroen should have included Cruise Control and Keyless Entry in the C3. Even the Tiago offers cruise control nowadays. Adding just these two features would have made the C3 a more complete package.

Re: Citroen C3 Review

Added 15 inch alloys to my C3. It's 108 pcd so as with tata , the options are limited and only available in 8 hole 100/108 pcd. Offset is not much for this brand and doesn't bulge out much like my tigor ev.

Yes, it’s for Kerala and it can go up soon.
Also, they did sound pretty sure that they can do delivery by the end of October.

Re: Citroen C3 Review

Won't the C3- SUV outgoing variant after 1,5-2 Lac discounts better than this?

They are not offering any such discounts for the updated Aircross. Atleast not until now. December might be good time for it.
But the C3 AT is about 50k-60k more than the manual version i believe which is incredibly good imo.

Yes, I referred to the outgoing AT. Doesn’t that make sense over this C3?

For me personally, no it would not. I'm looking for a hatchback. I assume people in the market for a proper 5/7 seater could take a look at it minus some features that is.
Aircross is about 1250-1275 Kg kerb weight compared to 1055 for the C3. That is over 200 kilos in favor of C3 purely from power to weight ratio difference which makes it a very good proposition for me.

As mentioned in another thread, i have subsequently bought the C3 Turbo Shine. Having had the car for barely a week now, i can just give my initial thoughts:

Like
Spacious and comfortable seats - particularly back seat.
Suspension is probably the best in this class
Engine is great - turbo engine is very willing to be revved
New Shine edition has addressed most of the missing features - electric rear view mirrors, rear wiper, reversing camera etc.
Carplay/Android Auto entertainment system is very good

Dont Like
Quirky design touches - e.g. rear window buttons in centre instead of on doors
No dead pedal to rest your left foot
Clutch travel is a bit too long - perhaps just a matter of getting used to it.
Tyres that came with the car seem inadequate for the power (CEAT SecuraDrive)
Having completed a year (and ~8000 km) with the car i can provide some updates on the experience so far:

The car has been reliable apart from a small gremlin with the open door warning which was fixed by replacing the sensor in the first couple of months.

The two standout points of the car are the turbo engine which begs to be revved and the suspension which makes Mumbai's bad roads tolerable. I have taken the car out of town on highways and in rural settings and it shines in both! The seats are great and interior space makes it pleasing to all passengers.

If there are a few things that i wish they would improve upon then its the clutch. Relatively heavy, it can get a bit painful in bumper to bumper traffic and the absence of a dead pedal makes it worse. Another aspect is the relatively poor fuel efficiency - a combination of a turbo engine and city traffic means that it is difficult to do better than 8 kpl in the city. To further compound this, the fuel tank is absolutely tiny and requires a refill a bit too often.

The dealership has changed in Mumbai - it was a bit disappointing that Citroen did not reach out to customers and inform them. I found out when i had tried calling the previous dealers service manager. However after redirecting me to the new dealer it has been smooth thereafter.

Overall, no regrets with my purchase and I'm enjoying the car, look forward to continued ownership.

If price is a limiting factor, then it surely does.

The following features are absolute basic must have in any car leaving the showroom floor these days:
- Central remote locking (preferably keyless entry)
- Auto AC
- Electric adjustable and folding ORVM (preferably auto folding)
- Android auto/ CarPlay (or navigation)
- Steering audio and phone controls (preferably cruise control also)
ABS, airbags, reverse sensors are not mentioned as they are mandatory part of all cars due to Government regulations.

Outgoing C3/C3 Aircross did not get Auto AC. So, the presence of auto AC in updated C3/C3 Aircross models is too important to lose. A manual AC requires periodic adjustments throughout the drive. This gets irritating furing long drives especially when a family member with lower tolerance towards cold air is seated at the front.
