One thing more, on the question of seat cover, did you check if the seat covers are compatible with the driver and passenger side airbags that are integrated into the seats?

Thanks!
Thanks Aditya for your good wishes.

The app that I have been using is aCar which was taken over by Fyelly.com.
Since I still have the license key and the apk I have the original app which I had purchased.

Regarding the seat cover since mine is a Zxi variant I do not have the 6 airbags unlike Zxi+. They costed me on the higher side since they are from auto cruze and I have got 2 years warranty for any wear or tear.

Its becoming a pain to keep the claddings clean, spot free. Any suggestions on how to clean it? I don't want to use strong cleaning agents as I feel it will end up degrading the black finish.
I am also having concerns around keeping the black cladding clean. Seeing the amount of black cladding wanted to try for some cheaper options so have bought 1 LTR worth of Wavex Dashboard and Leather conditioner. Haven't used it so not sure how well it would perform.

Please note I am in no way promoting this product just sharing what I plan to use.

I booked the ZXI+ variant and specifically asked the Arena SA about the seat covers. I was told that the official MGA seat cover only covers the front and back of the seats, and the sides are slit open mainly to not screw up with the side airbag mechanism. Hope that helps.

For the app, I generally use Fuelio, but there are several decent apps on the Store. Pick up any app you like, but stick to it throughout.

Re: 2022 Maruti Brezza Review

Same here!
Bought Brezza Silver color (Single Tone) 2 days back.
Amazing Experience to upgrade from the 2013 WagonR. Maruti is working towards building better cars for sure.

I felt the need for 6th Gear on Highway. Black Cladding is too big and chunky (Hopefully it serves the purpose)

Engine is sooo smooth and refined that makes me forget all the cons with car!
Happy Cruising!

Re: 2022 Maruti Brezza Review

Is there any way to see the fuel efficiency of the trip at the end of every trip? The current fuel efficiency number shows the aggregate one, any way to see it for latest trip only?

You probably will have to reset the trip meter after each trip to get the fuel efficiency for each trip. At least that is what I have been doing.

Suzuki Connect app is showing the trip history with mileage and many other interesting info. Not sure how accurate it is though, but I guess it would be same as what MID shows.

Re: 2022 Maruti Brezza Review

My Dec manufactured car came with older version of the infotainment software. I requested dealer to install the update, but they refused.
I have been trying to update through Smartplay pro sync app, but not being successful so far.

One thing I observed is the car is detected as 2021 model of Brezza. Could that be the issue?

With device paired or not, the update is not getting detected, and the updates tab is not starting any download process.
Also after first time connecting to the car, when I come back later, it does not connect again. I have to delete and redo the process from start.

I am yet to procure a 128GB pendrive to try USB method. I am not in a hurry, so will give it some more try before trying second method.

Re: 2022 Maruti Brezza Review

Maruti shows off CNG-ed Brezza, the first subcompact CNG SUV in India.

Quote:
Maruti Brezza CNG to get 88PS/121.5Nm 1.5-litre petrol-CNG engine.

Expected to offer around 27 km/kg which is similar to the Grand Vitara CNG.

CNG expected with the SUV’s mid-spec VXI and ZXI variants.

Could demand around a lakh more than its corresponding petrol variants.

Re: 2022 Maruti Brezza Review

Recently upon getting into my car I noticed some red colour around the MID. It only happens occationally and goes away after sometime. Does anyone else have this issue?

After like 2 minutes everything goes back to looking normal.
Should I be concerned?

Do you happen to purchase this service as I was told that I need to shell out approx. 12K for this service with 9k being the price of the equipment and another 3 K for the service for 3 years which I will have to renew once the subscription of 3 years expires.

2021 detected: That's the first I've heard, as long as it is detecting the infotainment, i think it should be fine. But then again, the issue of connectivity.

From what I've heard, some people have successfully updated using just 2GB pendrives. It is a less glitchy method that has a higher chance of success. Please ensure that the pendrive is formatted to FAT 32 File system instead of NTFS one.

My bad. Looks like the service is included by default with ZXI+ pricing and needed separate purchase for other variants. If it is 3 years only, then I guess it will expire for ZXI+ also after 3 years. Dealer didn't mention this to me, let me check and confirm with dealer.
