Looks like the price is not updated. I still see the same ex-showroom price for VXI MT as Dec'22 (946,500) for Kolkata.

Per this news, all models' prices will be increased (avg. increase 1%+).

From what I saw in the Origparts sites that you provided the link to, it looks like there are some screws etc., but I guess that is fine. Someone experienced could tell if some specific clip etc are missing or not.

I have a VXI MT, and interested in the MGP armrest too in Kolkata - not to mention the convenience of adding a charging port for the rear passengers. If I get any update about these parts (not very soon, too many personal/professional engagements lined up), I will post back here.

I believe the screws from the console box we have right now can be reused with the new armrest box. It should be a perfect swap in if I am not wrong... The AC vents also needs to be removed from the old rear cover and put in the new one.

Re: 2022 Maruti Brezza Review

Hi, Brezza Owners who took vehicle delivery in 2023, would you know if it is e20 fuel compatible?

PS: It should be in the Owner’s manual.

I'm yet to take my delivery (due in 10 days or so). But this is what an earlier news article quoted:

According to a media report, Maruti Suzuki’s entire model range will be compatible with E20 fuel from March next year. At present, the company manufactures engines that can run on E10 or 10% ethanol-blended fuel. To make them E20 compatible, Maruti will have to re-calibrate the powertrains to partially compensate for the drop in fuel efficiency.

Thanks for sharing Small Bot.

Curious if e20 compatibility is not a concern for you? You could wait 2 months more and get the e20 one?

Actually, going by how slowly things move in India, I'm sure E5/E10 petrol is going to be easily around for the next 10 years or more, even if at a premium. I'm pretty sure we do not currently have the ethanol production capacity too. I'm essentially banking on official ineptitude and the track records will probably prove me right.

Cars in India became E10 compliant way back in 2008 but countrywide E10 fuel rollout was achieved only in 2022.

So, since I kind of need a car urgently, I did not feel like waiting a few more months just to get an E20-compliant car. I'm pretty sure you'll get an April 2023 manufactured car only in June 2023 or later, judging by the backlogs the dealers quote.

My only wish would be that a retrofit mechanism is available so that the car could be made E20 compliant later, but I know better than to expect that from Maruti.

Congratulations for the car. Can you tell the manufacturing month of the car? Is it E20 compliant?

It will be printed on the driver side door column when you open it.

Re: 2022 Maruti Brezza Review

I want to book Brezza Automatic, but dealers are quoting 6-8 months of waiting.
Do you know any dealer in and around NCR who can deliver it in 3 months?

Re: 2022 Maruti Brezza Review

Hi, I got my car (ZXI+ AT) delivered on 23rd Jan'23.
I'm looking for gear lock or steering lock for added safety. I'm seeing a lot of retractable double hook steering lock with brake pedal. Not sure how good are they. Can veterans here help to suggest suitable product?
I am also trying to understand if underbody anti rust coating and rat mesh are needed? I'm hearing mixed reviews regarding both in team BHP. Any help on that is appreciated.

*IMHO you wont be needing a steering lock as when you switch off the car the steering gets locked. Also since your car is ZXI+ then will only start if the key is within the stipulated range.
*For rat mesh - if closed or covered parking then chances are less to negligible.
* Underbody Anti rust - ideal to use for six months then if you feel go for it.
