Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

Quick question: Anyone has done light upgrades on VX or any model ?
Stock setup and lights are just ineffective and illumination is non-existent a lot upgrade is a must but has doubts regarding voltage compatibility.

Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

After waiting for 4 months from booking, we are getting our Hycross VX Hybrid 7S in platinum white pearl delivered finally. Was supposed to take the delivery on day after tomorrow, i.e, Thursday itself but due to being inauspicious day (thanks to dad, who is a firm believer of auspicious days), getting it delivered on friday mostly.

Had completed the PDI yesterday at dealer stockyard itself and did the balance payment as well.

Also, opted for accessories like fog lamps, roof rails, floor mats, welcome door projector light, window shades, etc though we'd be getting the seat covers installed outside.

And, the car that was allocated to us is manufactured on 30th Jun 2023.

But bit worried with our car is being parked in semi open area as I heard that there will be heavy rains in Hyderabad for couple of days (26th and 27th Jul) and insisted my SA to park our car in a closed and safe area and cover it to ensure that nothing will happen to our car.

The final on-road price of Hycross VX Hybrid is ₹33L.

Took couple of pics during PDI and this is where the car has been parked by dealer

Congrats! Looks great. Please share pics after the upgrades.

Here I’m being told to wait until January 2025 for a VX super white. Yes, 2025. I’m trying to reach out to Toyota on phone, email, social media all to no avail. They had promised 2-3 months when I booked in 1st week of May.

Am quite convinced that my booking slot was given to someone else as an internal Toyota contact said my priority number was 25 and now dealer says it’s 35.

I guess dealer (Nandi Toyota) doesn’t care if it loses one customer to this sham.

Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

Quick question. Has Toyota stopped taking bookings for Hycross Hybrid top end? My friend in Pune is trying to get a booking done since last 2 months but dealer is just not accepting the booking. Dealer - Sharayu Toyota Pune.

For the ZX/ZXO variant, yes it's stopped temporarily. However, most dealers will make a booking for the VX/VXO instead, and they will say they can convert it to ZX once it's open for them to do so.

Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

Hi

Can anyone share the latest official accessories list (Bangalore if possible).

Also, any idea if the side steps are available now either officially or unofficially as an accessory?

The Prices of Hycross have shot up like anything! Hycross VX coming at 33 L on road is really too much. Till 28th Feb, the prices were 28 lakhs on road in Delhi.

I got the Fog Lamps installed in my VX from dealership itself. Autoform 7D mats from outside market. However, the search is still ongoing for boot mat. It's been 4 months, I am not able to find the boot mat for hycross on any of the stores.

Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

We took delivery of our Hycross ZX(O) after 8 months of wait. We booked online on 25th Nov right after the bookings opened online and chose the dealer: Harsha Toyota Kondapur Hyderabad. Had to email Toyota seeking updates over delivery ETA couple of times as the sales team managing our booking provided none. Each time post email to Toyota we got an immediate response from dealer saying delivery expected next month (first in Apr and then June).

Finally, a few weeks ago things started to move and we got our chosen variant and color (Blackish Ageha) allotted. We were able to negotiate down the insurance quote by 20k citing delays and opted out of the accessories (60k) as I wasn't keen on any of the chrome accessories. But we went with the extended warranty and a service package (smiles package). Delivery experience was good, we were in and out in an hour, with the paperwork and temp registration completed ahead of our delivery.

Hoping for a happy ownership experience with the Hycross as it soon replaces our preowned Fortuner (2013 4x2 AT), the Fortuner has been a solid hassle-free vehicle to own and operate over the past 5 years. We will be sad to part ways with it but it was starting to show its age and we were missing out on safety and comfort features that now come standard in vehicles today.

Prices of accessories haven't changed yet and there is no official side steppers. Only third-party. Please find the list attached below, which was shared in the earlier thread.

Invicto Zeta+ offers much more value at a cheaper price! Moreover from what I heard, there are a lot of Zeta+ cars both 7 and 8-seater options, available in stock. Although it has been priced at 33L for the VX in Kerala since June, and there's no other competition for this segment that comes with a hybrid powertrain and smooth ride, it's fine.
There are boot mats available in Amazon. Luv cars (+919873720693) or @vvcarsdecor must have them too though there will be a high markup.

Try Kalra accessories store in Gurgaon.

Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

Does the 8 Seater have a three point seat belt in the middle row for the middle seat?

I would appreciate a pic to see how the middle seat middle row seat belt looks like.

This is one of the cost cuttings done by Toyota. Even a base variant of Kia Carens, which costs around ₹13-14L has this cladding. Even my dad too commented the same.

We are paying ₹33L and yet, the car doesn't get side claddings. Why Toyota why?

Anyway, I'm getting those side claddings installed on our Hycross VX from the Toyota dealership itself as I don't want to risk getting it installed outside and costs ₹18.5k for these.

No matter what car, if it says 8 seater then it will mandatorily have 8 seat belt points.

Thanks for the pic. I am still not sure, if there is a three point seat belt for the middle row middle seat vs the lap belt. This is what I want to know.

This image shared by woodstock3001 shows the 3 point seatbelt origin points for middle bench seat.

I guess red one is for middle bench and blue for last seats (for middle passengers only).
