What are the technical differences between Toyota Innova Hycross 2024 and its 2025 release?

Solved the Non-Illuminated Power Window Console part by ordering an OEM Toyota Japan part from a RAV4, damage to wallet about ~13-14k

First my friend has got it shipped to India from Japan, I’ll be following suit and getting installed in mine as well.

Is a 10-15 minutes job at max to swap the panels, can’t believe Toyota doesn’t give them from factory!!

Both Part No.s : 84040-42150 and 84040-30330 have all buttons illuminated in White and will work with the HyCross.

Side by Side; Part No.: 84040-42150 on the left is the Part which we need, which has all buttons illuminated in White; meanwhile on the Right is the stock master window panel that comes with the car

The Stock Part, Part No.: 84040-VT010 which came from Factory

Hence, have solved the biggest gripe of mine with the Innova HyCross.

Have shared some more pictures in my Ownership Review and the background of how I zeroed onto this part.: https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/test-...ml#post5929504 (2024 Toyota Innova Hycross Hybrid Review | Silent Katana)

Will be sharing the Illuminated Individual Window Switches for the passenger doors once I receive them

I went through. Thank you for the details. It surely helps. Closer to my D-Date now hopefully, though the vehicle is not dispatched as of today. Maybe in the next 2 days.

I am now only confused about:

1. PDI checklist : I could only find the link (), although I think there was a more detailed document somewhere in one of the forums, that I am now not able to find. I am considering using Zekardo if I can't find the checklist.

2. Roofrails, Footrest & 7D Mats: I could only find a few threads and references for a few online sellers, who unfortunately don't have stock and I can't figure out what's good and what's probably not.
- Roofrails : Toyota guys offering for Rs. 13,500 as against local Rs. 3,500. Is it really that much priced up or the quality is different?
- Footrest : Toyota @ Rs. 20,000 and I read between Rs.7,500 & 13,000 for options. I'm more for functionality and quality than looks. Do the all-black ones work better (grip, rust, fitment)?
- 7D Mats : Online all looks the same. Some online-sellers I found from our Hycross forums don't have stock.

3. Damping : I see threads from various members.
- I understand the 5 inside panels, but why/ how is the bonnet Damping helpful? The noise is maybe reduced if you're outside the car, not when inside? I'd have thought if it is engine noise inside the car, maybe is has to do with the damping on the dash panel. Happy to understand.
- Any recommended damping materials makes from your experience? From an installer - I've been recommended Dr. Artex (2mm) for the inside panels, followed by a layer of Morel (is 1-inch thick, but presses down to 1mm. Didn't follow what that meant).

4. Underbody coating: Is it needed for a ZXO or rather when is it needed? Any recommended players in Mumbai/ Navi-Mumbai who offer quality service are much appreciated. For my Skoda Rapid, the various dealers & mechanics I'd asked over the years all said for Skoda, not required as the design is pre-coated and very robust.

To simplify, can anyone recommend 1 or more places in Mumbai/ Navi-Mumbai where I can get good options and not be fleeced? secondly, from experiences, any recommendations on what to choose or to avoid? please feel free to share details or the forum chat link where reasonable options may exist.

Happy to hear your & other fellow BHP-ians thoughts on what may be a suggested way to go based on your research / experience. Sincere thanks for taking out time to share your insights.

Tagging a few members who had interesting insights for their Hycross and might be able to share some views. Sorry about the spam.

@Paritoshkalra , @PrasadS , @manofinfinity , @Cresterk and many more members. I'm very thankful to all of you and countless others who shared their reviews/ experiences, which helped me make my decision to empty my wallet & bank.

Thank you for the tips. I've put another post. It's not up yet (as I'm a Team-BHP newbie, so should make it on the board by the time this message gets approved as well), but great if I could get to hear your comments to those queries as well. I'll DM the link if you're not able to find it easily. Thank you.

I got most of these accessories (roof rail, door visor, door side moulding, window chrome, rear bike protector, 7d mats, grill chrome garnish) from outside for much lower price.

Only the door side moulding chrome became dull after 2 years now. Rest all are doing fine. So get good quality chrome elements from outside or get chrome elements from Dealer.

Roofrail (₹3700) I applied it on the rubber beading unlike how it's done with dealer. After 2 years it still sticks fine and the placement looks better in my opinion.

Congratulations and thank you for sharing a detailed report on the upgrade. Your perseverance has paid off.

Considering that the driver side power window buttons illumination costs ~14k, and the need for operating the windows is less frequent, for me, this would come into the category of "needed but not essential". Off course, completely agree with you on the enhancement of the cabin ambience due to this illumination.

My preference based on the utility for a GX(O) variant would be,
a. replacing the existing fog light with a better one
b. adding the cruise control functionality

The wish list when the budget is available,
a. converting the tail gate operation from manual to powered
b. passenger power window button illumination
c. driver side power window button illumination

Fog light:
Considering CEF_Beasts feedback in the forum here, have shortlisted the Aozoom FLP2030 Fog Projectors (white light) which i understand is around ~17k. Will check with the car dealers here in Bangalore, and if not, with the external installers.

Cruise control:
The guy at Karol bagh, Delhi seems to be the one who is famous and experienced in installing the Cruise control. Checked a few videos but did not come across any guys in the south who are doing this installation. Anyone who has installed this on their Hycross can confirm the cost? Any reliable guys in the south?

Tail gate:
Conversion from manual to powered tail gate is costing between 25k-35k at Carplus. Waiting to see the user reviews.

@CEF_Beasts, will look forward to your update on the illumination of individual window switches on the Passenger Doors to decide on this upgrade.

I think vxo is for those who want all zxo features but also want a bench seat. Sadly ADAS and 18 inch alloys are a miss

Does TPMS work after changing alloys in hycross from OEM 17in to OEM 18 inch? What about insurance claim and warranty of car in the same scenario?

Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

I have another update regarding mileage figure of GX (O) model which is petrol only. I had a quick one night return trip from Delhi to Agra and I decided to take the Hycross. We had 3 people and 3 cabin size luggage on board. The car was cruising mostly between 90-100kmph on butter smooth yamuna expressway. The mileage figure returned was 17.8km/l which is mind blowing given the size of the car. We also used AC at 27 degree for couple of hours each way.

Yes. I've upgraded from OEM 17 inch to OEM 18 inch and TPMS works flawlessly.

Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

Does the Innova have easy access seats in ZXO? Meaning if I get out of the car, it would slide back so I can easily get off, get back in?

Yes, both the ZX and ZX(O) variant get the ‘Welcome’ feature for the driver’s seat, it’s linked with the seatbelt being buckled/unbuckled and engine turned on/off.

Awesome, thank you! could you elaborate more on how it works? We just got ours today but I am not sure if I noticed.

Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

Requesting fellow BHPians to kindly shed some light on these queries

1. Warranty and insurance coverage of alloys, suspension and steering wheel in case of changing 17inch OEM alloys to 18inch
2. Watched a video on youtube by Sunderdeep Singh Paaji (volklub) where he has raised concerns about changing seat covers in cars with six airbags. Is it advisable to change vxo fabric seat covers to leatherette seat covers. What about airbag compatibility of topgear brand seat covers?
3. Installing aftermarket front DRL (which is present in zx and absent in vx). Any issues with that? Have seen numerous videos of people replacing them aftermarket.
4. Warranty issues with hardwiring dashcam
5. If anybody has any idea or insider info whether zx or zxo will come with a bench seat in further updates?

TIA
