Any help would be appreciated as this is my first car scratch ever. Willing to pay through the roof to get it patched but not sure about the correct course of action.
Please go ahead with Toyota dealership. I had a similar incident and got the dent removal and entire door panel painting from Nandi (Kudlu Gate) for around 6k.

Maybe they could offer some new colors for MY25 ?
One reason I can think of is creating a differentiation between the two models by not having similar colours and making models easily identifiable by having unique colours. The range of colours can improve for sure.

Hycross is offered in dark grey colour in some Asian markets, and also Hycross is available in brown shaded I hope they launch dark grey for the Hycross as it looks awesome on the Crysta.

Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

In some markets, Lower Varients of LC 250 use the same infotainment as Hycross (8-inch unit)
Here Gagan is quoting that this is built for Nepal and allegedly the same spec LC 250 will be also sold in India as a CBU.

Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

For the prospective non-hybrid buyers interested to know the fuel economy, I have posted Bengaluru city economy figures here:

https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/test-...ml#post5947108 (Our Toyota Innova Hycross GX (Option) 2.0L Petrol CVT in Blackish Ageha)

On the highways, I do get 16kmpl when driven sensibly under 120kmph.

Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

What is the typical waiting period for hycross now? I was given 12-18 months for petrol Gxo variant and around 4 months for Vxo by Nippon toyota, Ernakulam.

I really don't need hybrid for my running but is confused now..

Completely my mistake since the 360 camera was dark and I hadn't repositioned the mirror to point at the floor, so was blind to this. The cladding has come out and underneath can see white and a minor dent. Have put back the cladding now, only the door scratch is noticeable.
Update on the paint/dent work: Nandi toyota was able to get the entire door and wheel section repainted, dent removed and replaced the wheel cladding for ~13k. Workmanship is top notch, also probably coz it's a new car, but I can't make out any difference between the panels.

On a side note, Have now given my VX to Imperial Leathers, Bangalore to get a light grey leather seat covers fitted after removing the fabric (grey to match with the grey interior roof) and later today will give the car to Esperto Car Care to get the Drexler ceramic coating and the 3M sunfilm.

Completely new to this field, got to know about both these places from teambhp forums, thanks guys!

I booked a ZX(O) a year ago and am still waiting. Possibly because of an unethical dealer.

I have also booked the GXO in Feb this year and was told a very different timeline of 2-3 months though. Obviously there is no sign of the car yet and when I followed up with the dealer by visiting their showroom, I was advised to go for the vx variant or switch to Crysta GX plus. The sales manager mentioned that hybrid is being produced more and general allotments for cars is in a ratio of 1:5, I find it ridiculous that a company has that kind of allotment ratio

Agree. They were pushing me to book hybrid variants sighting huge waiting period of petrol. Looks like dealer is not interested in selling petrol at all.

Hyderabad dealers quoted the opposite when I enquired in Jan this year. Waiting period quotes to me for GX(O) was 6-8 months and VX(O) was 12+ months.

More Hybrids are manufactured as demand for Hycross Hybrid is more. I had enquired with both Mody Toyota and Harsha Toyota for GX(O) and both quoted 6+ months waiting period. I got a random call from Harsha Toyota SA by end of Jan that they had White GX(O) available and it could be allocated to me if I pay booking amount and have to buy ₹50k accessories at least. I was on the way and by the time I got back in 2 hours, the SA was done for the day. I didn’t transfer any amount on that day. The next day I called multiple times and eventually he picked up saying the car was allocated to someone else as I took long time to get back. Hycross is good car and sells on its own which has made some showrooms greedy. I felt there is no clarity by Toyota when the car would be available and dealers can allocate to anyone who is ready to pay for high accessories and inflated insurance.

After reading all the posts the only conclusion I can come to is that waiting period is very random and really depends on dealer and probably which city you have booked it from.

I booked a ZXO towards end of Jan, was told two to three months waiting, dealer received the car and I completed the PDI.

Absolutely no pressure for choosing accessories as well. My recommendation would be to try different dealers. 12 months sounds very very high.

Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

Can anyone please share their experience of ride quality and effect in mileage after upgrading Hycross tyres to 235/55/R18? Is the upgrade worth it?

Went to Imperial leathers.
75k for light grey genuine leather seats. Light grey to match the roof. Includes middle arm rest.
Did not change the dashboard and side arm rests.

They have artificial leather options too from 15-60k.
