Aren't these banned? Surprised to see them being sold as official accessories.

On another note, the single biggest reason why many potential buyers avoid the Innova series altogether:

Here’s how the Toyota Innova Hycross base variant looks like

These seem to be banned for front bumpers, not for back! As far as Innova usage by fleet operators, it seems the base version running on petrol will not be economical for them vis a vis the diesel Crysta.

Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

Hello fellow BHPians. My family has recently purchased the Innova Hycross ZX(O). But we are facing 2 issues-

1. The Legroom lamp doesn't change colours through the mobile app (weirdly the same installed on a legender in the family works fine!)

2. The Toyota i connect app is not working and the remote commands are getting timed out. I've called Toyota i connect team multiple times but till date I have not got any solution.

Can someone please help out on these 2 issues?
Thanks in anticipation

1 Did you install legroom lamp? Is it an OEM accessory ? Price?

2. Try uninstalling and installing app while the vehicle is in a space which has good connectivity and try opening and connecting the app. I also faced this issue

Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

Is there any update about the E20 compliance for Hycross?

I have got a Innova Hycross alotted to me, but since I can wait a month or so more, feel it is better to wait for sometime to get a E20 compliant car? Is my understanding correct that starting this month, non E20 compliant cars cannot be sold/registered in Delhi?

One downside is that the dealer has informed me that Toyota plan is closed for the month of April, so deliveries of new cars will be impacted. Does anyone know about this?

Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

Finally took delivery of my VX(O) and got the pooja done. Few of the accessories were not available so have been ordered like leg room light etc

Strangely there was no one to explain stuff to me and was more like figure it out on the run types. Guess this is how things are as at times you know more than the sales/delivery person. Did a tank full for the car so that I can see how the mileage comes up. I still haven’t been able to find or add my car in the i-Connect app so let’s c

Here are few pics of the car

One help I need is how to get the pooja stain off the car

Toyota has a blue logo for cars with hybrid or alternative drive trains. Why is it missing on the Hycross?

Their new design language is moving away from the blue logo apparently. I have been contemplating buying one and installing it anyway.

I doubt that, bought a camry last month and it has blue hue emblem. Maybe they are differentiating it with the premium segment by not providing the same on hyryder and hycross.

Many congratulations, sanketdesai82. This is the first VX(O) delivery I am hearing of.

Which accessories/ insurance did you finally go for?
How was the experience with followups at Mody Toyota to get the car allotted?

Current generation of the camry was launched in 2018. Why would they change up their assembly line just for an emblem? Let the new generation camry be launched and it won't have the blue emblem. New prius and Crown doesn't get the blue emblem either. Nothing to do with segments.

First deliveries of vx(o) started this week/last month end across cities post the announcement of this variant. I had to pull some strings in order to get the car alloted though I had booked zx(o) in Nov 22 itself.

As my xuv 500 broke down, I was in need for a family car asap.

I had to take the insurance from the showroom along with ceramic coating and accessories. This was the dealers way of saying ‘my way or the highway’.

While I was ok with the ceramic (not preferred) I honestly did not want to spend for accessories as most of them were not worth it. Finally picked the below accessories:

Floor mats 7D, luggage tray, car cover, door edge protector, front and rear underun, mud guards, side visor.

Few of the items were not available and are ordered.

Re: Toyota Innova Hycross Review

Question to existing hycross owners:

By when does the i-Connect app start showing the car in it? I’ve tried adding the car using the VIN number however it keeps saying VIN not recognised.

I checked with the dealer and he says Toyota has to update in their system

Tried using the complete number including 4 digits post ~ but the app does not let you enter more than 17 characters and the complete is 21 characters.
