No space and it is sorely missed on expressway drives but the suspension will make sure that you avoid such drives. You won’t miss it in the city as the feet are busy between brake, clutch and accelerator. So not much utility in MT.

White Thar dispatches have started. I got confirmation today from Chandigarh dealership that my White thar has been billed on 3rd March and dispatched the next day.

Sahil bhai, I don't know what to say. Although you haven't booked one, still I commend your excitement for the white Thar. I am posting todays YouTube video of a Thar which reached a dealership. A bit disappointed looking at the white colour. I didn't have much choice anyways. I don't prefer dark shades on my cars. Do share your feedback.

I had booked a white one too after seeing a white Jeep Wrangler. I am disappointed as well.

Doesn’t look good. Aquamarine is one good colour that doesn’t sell. I was thinking of booking white but am glad I chose black.

Red and Grey are both great

Re: Mahindra Thar 1.5L RWD Review

Finally received confirmation from Dealership yesterday that my booking has been in first lot and it is price protected. Ever since Mahindra revised the prices for RWD LX variant and also with 6.2 introduction, I've been little concerned if I could get the vehicle at the introductory price or not. Its a big relief now.

Dealer has also confirmed that my vehicle hasn't invoiced yet so they can't promise any delivery date. Hope to receive my ride soon.

Which model and color?

For Petrol RWD White, the dealership has communicated that the invoicing will happen in the coming week and delivery will be in subsequent week. But still nothing is certain.

Only the ex showroom price will be protected. Road tax and other stuff get calculated at prevailing ex showroom prices at the time of delivery.

Congratulations EcoSport_Thar. I would like to hear how the White Thar actually looks in person. It was my first choice but booked Black color by mistake. After seeing YouTube videos of White Thar, I'm content with my booking now.

I booked Thar RWD LX, Black Color. Dealer is PPS Bangalore.

Yes, I'm aware of that geekyengineer. But, 50k is a considerable bump for Thar RWD LX. So, Just wanted to be sure my booking was price protected.

No. My thar was invoiced with price protection and tax and other stuff was calculated on the basis of the protected price.

I believe, your car was invoiced before the price hike. Once Mahindra shares the revised price with RTO, Road tax will be calculated same for everyone. Difference amount by the price hike will be shown as discount.
