FL Seltos does not have this feature.

By pressing the Engine On/Off button once, it powers on most of the electronics inside the cabin (engine stays off). Then you can use the window buttons to open or close them.

Upgrade Delight: From S Cross to Seltos

Driving this car has been an absolute pleasure, and the upgrade from the S Cross has been remarkable.

Fully loaded car: Firm Ride

We were on a road trip to Tadoba today, and my car was fully loaded for the first time with 4 adults, 1 kid, and luggage. The ride felt notably firm, especially for rear passengers. I have filled Nitrogen in tyres set to 35psi, but when the tyres were heated, TPMS was showing 38psi. I'm going to reduce the tyre pressure to 33psi and check the ride on the way back

Coffee Break Annoyance: KIA, Can We Mute It?

The constant "consider taking a coffee break" alerts have been an annoyance. Hoping that KIA introduces an option to silence or at least reduce the volume of these alerts
I guess I’ve seen your Seltos at Kapila hotel parking lot, Nizamabad, today. Ours was a Pearl White Hycross bearing registration number (8866) and I’ve come there for the lunch along with my mom when I spotted your car. I actually came to Nizamabad for getting my passport renewed as I wasn’t getting any slots in Hyd.

Re: 2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Review

Today, while surfing the Kia website, I found that Kia has silently introduced a new variant of the face-lifted Seltos GT line named 'GTX' without any suffix.

It is priced at 18.99 lakhs ex-showroom and costs just 6k more than the HTX+ D IMT and is 40k cheaper than the GTX+(S)

It seems to be available only on automatic transmission in both petrol and diesel.

There is no detail or mention of this variant available in the brochure either

That's true. Kia has re-jigged it's variant line-up across Sonet, Seltos and Carens ( I think) with a significant price hike!

Re: 2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Review

Had a feeling that Kia will introduce another Seltos GT line trim soon as the FL Seltos will mark its one-year anniversary this month! But it's pleasing to see other models are also getting the new trim.

Seems like it’s only available with turbo DCT and diesel AT (still no NA IVT though). No further details are available. Please someone tell me it comes with light interiors. Will grab one if it offers a 360 degree camera setup, ventilated seats, all safety features, EPB with auto hold and light interiors. Don't care about ADAS, air purifier and Bose speaker system et al. Or is the list looking a little too ambitious for 18.99L ?

Also looks like few people's prayers have been answered. There is a new Aurora Black Pearl X-Line variant added with Sage Green Inserts, which seems to be the Non-Matt version. Minimal Chrome Treatment gives it a very Stealth look.

That's a great news! Thanks for sharing. Finally Kia is taking steps in the right direction. This will draw consumers (including us ) who were avoiding the X line, but wanted it for those exquisite and elegant sage green interiors. Should help Kia to regain some lost market share in the recent times.

PS: This seems to be done for the Sonet X line as well while the Carens X line is still offered in matte.

Re: 2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Review

Difference between the three GT line trims:

2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Review-seltos.png

The new GTX trim missing the following:

1. 360-degree camera
2. Bose speaker system
3. 10.25 touchscreen infotainment with full digital cluster MID which can be a deal breaker for some
4. Sequential indicators with fog lamps

The new trim is offered only with the petrol DCT and diesel AT. Kia should have also introduced the NA IVT combo with light interiors in the GT line. A missed opportunity IMHO.

Interestingly, the ADAS suite in GTX has 19 features versus 17 in other trims. Perhaps a typo.

Hyundai Creta has the same ADAS suite and advertises 19 features, Whereas the Seltos advertises 17 for the same suite. Considering both are the same, they should have said the same thing for both Creta and Seltos

Or it may be a deal maker because it will have the smaller touchscreen which supports wireless Carplay and AA

Sage green in glossy Black Honestly, I don't think sage green goes with black, especially aurora black.

Re: 2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Review

Somehow the local dealers don't have any update on these newly introduced features.

I tried checking with a dealer here in Goa and he bluntly said that there's nothing 'official' as yet. Moreover, he is claiming wait times of 2 months for a fresh booking made in this month.

Possibly, he is saying this as I have refused to accept the allotted Sonet HTX D AT (pre-update) and is pissed coz of that.

I checked with a dealer in Belgaum and he mentioned that these features aren't uniform across the DCT & D AT trims. Not quite convincing though.

Awaiting an official brochure from them.

Kia Seltos: New GTX Variant Launched

It seems Kia has revised the Seltos line up once again. Reportedly adding a new GTX variant.

Found this article on CarWale : https://www.carwale.com/news/kia-sel...ur-introduced/

Reportedly this variant gets features like ADAS and 18 inch wheels on top of the HTX+. Also, it is only being offered with the 1.5 turbo petrol DCT and diesel AT, no manual option. The price for both petrol and diesel is 19L ex-showroom.

I think it looks Alright. Not too bad. The existing Matt Graphite Shade is not too different from Black. I feel there will be takers for this and maybe it will sell more than the Matt Graphite X-Line due to Maintenance worries with the Matt shade.

Re: 2023 Kia Seltos Facelift Review

Now I am confused between this and the Scorpio N Z8 Select. The D AT of Scorpio costs the same. Surely, Seltos has a lot more features, but the sheer presence of the Scorpio, plus its the only true SUV among the two. God I am confused

I too think it will go well and also eliminates the maintenance headache which comes with the matte paint. Definitely a win-win for someone who doesnt want those underwhelming all black GT line interiors (personal taste) or the matte paint. This will open more options for many consumers and help Kia to do better numbers.

Just checked with a local Kia dealer and they confirmed the changes . They also indicated that the waiting period will shoot up for the X line as they have started getting more enquiries and bookings for it.
