Hello Mr Anderson, Prepaying for parts and services that are already poor in quality is just a straight-up rip-off. Kia is more focused on securing its finances than actually adding and providing good after sale service experience, and plans like "My Convenience Plus" are just another way for them to get richer over time without adding any real value to vehicle owners. It’s optional now, but for how long? Will Kia eventually start forcing people to buy this plan just to get basic services? This is how these shady tactics work—they start by making it seem like a choice, then slowly make it harder for people without the plan to get proper service. Next thing you know, if you don’t have it, you’re either waiting forever for an appointment or getting subpar treatment. It’s like how airlines charge for seat selection—first, it’s optional, then suddenly, if you don’t pay, you’re stuck in the worst seat possible. Since owning my Kia Seltos from Feb 2024, the experience has been nothing but horrible, and this "My Convenience Plus" just feels like another way to squeeze money out of vehicle owners without actually improving anything in after sale service experience. My overall 2nd service bill came up Rs 4600/- (Attached bill for your reference)
Is this normal or should I raise a complaint? Kindly help me with your experience. Thanks | Quote:

Hello rronbhp789, Aviator_guy. KIA after sales service is a rip-off for sure. Not surprised they did it without consent. Tire rotation (TR), wheel alignment (WA) and wheel balancing (WB) must be done at the vehicle owner's choice—where and when to get it done is up to them, not forced at the Kia authorized service center. The ASC in my case, Jaika Kia Nagpur, is no different. The general manager of after sales services at Jaika kia, Nagpur goes to great lengths when it’s time to lie or provide incorrect information to vehicle owners. I have been experiencing the same since I have owned a Kia Seltos. Kia ASCs close complaints without any communication, resolution or timely satisfactory customer service and customer consent. Reported incidents like these are clear indicators of the lack of quality in Kia’s after-sales services. Explaining and providing correct information is the most basic thing any ASC must do, and Kia ASCs are very poor at even that.
If any vehicle tires and steering are in good condition, repeating WA and WB at every service is just another unnecessary ripoff at KIA ASCs. There’s no real improvement achieved by doing it again and again when it’s not needed. I Would love to hear if anyone has insights on Kia’s TPMS relearn process to avoid these extra costs and time wasted at Kia ASCs. Just curious if BHPians have some insights or experience with it. I Would love to hear your thoughts on the correct tire rotation (TR) and TPMS relearn process for the 2023 Kia Seltos. I got tire rotation (TR) , wheel balancing (WB), and wheel alignment (WA) done at the Kia ASC because they handle the TPMS relearn after tire rotation (TR), which is important to make sure the TPMS system reads the pressures correctly after tires are rotated. Just wanted to double-check if anyone knows the exact process they follow or any workaround that works well. I'm really curious about this because it could help save both time and money for all vehicle owners who are getting unnecessarily charged at KIA ASCs for services that aren’t actually needed and don’t add any real value or improvement to their ownership experience. Only the necessary services, done at the right intervals, must be performed at the Kia ASCs to keep the car properly maintained without wasting money and time on things that don’t make a difference.
I also checked with some trusted local aftermarket shops, and they charge more for my Kia Seltos 2023 because they avoid TPMS relearn by removing and refitting the tires on the same wheel rims instead of changing wheel rim positions on the car. This method works, but it adds unnecessary cost and time since they charge more per tire for this process.
